ONE DAY STATE LEVEL WORKSHOP

DATA SCIENCE AND BIG DATA ANALYTICS

One day State Level Workshop on Data Science and Big Data Analytics was organized
by the Department of Information Technology of Sri Sarada College for Women Tirunelveli on
20.12.2017 Wednesday .The workshop was started with Arathi and Prayer Song.The Welcome
address was delivered by Smt P.SubbuLakshmi Assistant Professor Department of Information
Technology .The College administrator Srimat Swami Bhakthananda Maharaj and the Secretary
Yatiswari SaravanaBhavaPriya Ambaji blessed the gathering .Dr Smt.M.Malarvazihi principal of
the college delivered the introductory address.

The technical session was handled by Sri D.Kesavaraja M.E MBA (Phd)MISTE AIME
Assistant Professor Department of Computer Science Dr.Sivanthi Adithanar College,
Tiruchendur .In his session he has covered the topics Big Data, Hadoop ,HDFS ,Map-
Reduce,HIVE and R tool . In afternoon session he gave the hands on training to the participants.
Nearly 95 participants from 11 different colleges has participated in the workshop. Vote of
thanks was delivered by K.Narayani of III B.Sc Information Technology .The Session comes to
end with College song and Shanthi Prayer.
