Tiffany has a solid grasp of grade-level content. She provided age-appropriate instruction during my school visit. Her cooperating
teacher indicated that she is consistently delivering content in an appropriate manner.

Tiffany provided clear and concise reading instruction to a small group of children during my site visit. Materials were appropriate and
ready for the lesson. She presented "I Can" objective statements to the children in written format on a laminated strip. This was an idea
recommended by her cooperating teacher and one I had not seen before. I recommend Tiffany continue this practice with her own class
in the future. Tiffany used visual representations to help the children reach success with the lesson. She reinforced the learning targets
throughout the observation.

strategies. I also observed her assessing student performance in a formative manner during my visit.

Tiffany used highly effective interaction strategies to look and listen to children when they were speaking. She provided ample think time
before jumping in to help children when they she asked a question or when they met with challenges. Her set behavior expectations.
She is still learning the tip and tricks to be proactive in management of student behavior (i.e. pass out supplies just before needed). She
fosters a positive learning environment through her positive and genuine interactions with the children.

For this placement and at the time of my school visit, Tiffany was documenting behavioral progress for three students. This is valuable
practice. She needs to go further by documenting student academic progress in an ongoing manner so that she is able to provide
evidence that achievement goals have been met based on her instruction.
