Jonathan F. Fandialan, DMD graduated from the University of the Philippines Manila in 1997. He finished his Residency in Tem-
poromandibular Disorders and Orofacial Pain under Michael Gelb and Dr. Gary Heir at the New York University. He also finished a mini-
residency in Temporomandibular Disorders and Orofacial Pain under Dr. Jeffrey Okeson at the University of Kentucky, USA. He has University of the Philippines Manila
given several well-attended lectures on Oro-facial Pain, Temporomandibular Disorders and Occlusion and maintains a busy private
practice. He is a founding member of The Orofacial Pain Academy of the Philippines. The Health Sciences Center

Vivian C. Virata, DMD, MS finished her Masters of Science in Periodontics at Columbia University, USA. She is currently a Profes-
sorial Lecturer at the Graduate School, UP College of Dentistry. She obtained her DMD degree from the University of the Philippines in
1995. She has delivered numerous lectures in Periodontics all over the country and has authored several clinical and review of literature
articles in local journals.

Xenia Velmonte, DMD is a practicing Oral and Maxillofacial surgeon at the Asian Hospital, Makati Medical Center and Our Lady of
Peace Hospital in Las Pinas. She received postgraduate training at various local and international training institutions including the
Philippine General Hospital and University of Wisconsin, USA. She continued her Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery training at the St. Martin
University of the Philippines Manila
de Porres Charity Hospital. She is an amateur photographer and one of her main interests is intraoral digital photography. Her photo-
graphic work has been seen and used in numerous presentations and publications. Dr. Velmonte graduated from the UP College of
Dentistry in 1992.

Arnon L. Rivera, DMD is the Founding President of the National Association of Dental Prosthetic Laboratories Inc (NADLI) and is
a consultant to the TESDA for the development of training regulations and education for dental technicians. He is a consultant on dental
materials and equipment of Shofu, Philippines and Sterngold Philippines. He is also a teaching consultant of the St. Jude Medical Center.
Dr. Rivera obtained his DMD degree from the University of the Philippines Manila in 1989 and finished his Post-Graduate Training on

Melanie Ruth Karganilla-Frange, DMD is currently the Head of the Oral Medicine Section of the Univer- University-Based

Isabel Campos-Bustos, DMD is formerly a Professorial Lecturer in Endodontics at the UP College of Den-
tistry. She obtained her Certificate of Proficiency at the prestigious University of Pennsylvania School of Dentistry in
1995. Afterwards, she became a faculty member at the New York University before coming home to teach at the
University of the Philippines where she graduated in 1991. Dr. Bustos maintains a busy practice limited to Endodon-
tics at The Rockwell Center, Makati and is one of the most sough-after resource speakers in Endodontics. Dr. Bustos
is the Immediate Past President of the Endodontic Society of the Philippines.

Catherine Anne T. Chia, DMD, MDS is currently a faculty member in Endodontics at the UP College of Dentistry. She
obtained her Masters of Dental Surgery degree in Endodontics from the Prince Phillip Hospital, University of Hongkong in 2010. She
graduated from the University of the Philippines in 2006.

Karla P. Domingo, DMD, MSD graduated from the UP College of Dentistry in 2007. She finished her Oral Surgery externship
at the UP-PGH in 2008. She obtained her Masters of Science in Clinical Dentistry (Prosthodontics & Implants) from the University of
Alabama in 2010. Dr. Domingo is a lecturer for the Basic Implant Course at UPCD since 2012. She is a consultant of Dentium Philippines
and is the Head Lecturer of the Dentium Implant Training Course. She maintains a private practice at the Medical Plaza Ortigas.

Joseph Raoul Buizon, DMD is currently a Clinical Assistant Professor in Operative Dentistry at the UP College of Dentistry and
teaches Basic Photography at the College of St. Benilde - De La Salle University, Taft Ave. Manila. He graduated from the UP College of
Dentistry and maintains a private practice at the St. Luke’s Medical Center, Quezon City.
