I will
explaining about definition of vapor pressure and it’s relation with boiling point.
And then i will creating searching box to find vapor pressure (Pa) using
temperature (degree celcius) as keyword. And equipping with Plot graphic
temperature versus vapor pressure of water. Please watching a tutorial video in
the last.
Vapour Pressure
The vapour pressure is the pressure exerted when the molecules leave the
surface at the same rate as they return. If the intermolecular forces in a liquid are
small, the molecules can easily escape from the surface of the liquid. The liquid
will have a high vapour pressure.
Boiling Point
The normal boiling point is the temperature in which the vapour pressure of a
liquid becomes equal to atmospheric pressure. If the intermolecular forces are
small, the liquid has a high vapour pressure. Little heat energy will have to be
added to separate the molecules, so the boiling point will be low. Conversely, if
there are strong intermolecular forces, the molecules will be strongly attracted to
each other. Few molecules will enter the gas phase, and the vapour pressure will
be low. More heat will be required to separate the molecules, so the boiling point
will be higher.
Steps:
6. and in the control format there is a cell link, the contents of the cell link
with the code contained in the combo box.
7. after that will appear the value contained in the combo box, and the value
will be used as keywords to use the built in function VLOOKUP
8. after that do VLOOKUP method on existing data in excel, more details can
be seen picture below.
- First, before we use the VLOOKUP method select one of the numbers
contained in the combo box.
- Second, enter the built in function VLOOKUP in excel F17 code. With
the code contained in the example image above.
After that create a table
1. first, select the insert menu after that select insert line chart contained in
CHART. And free to choose the type of table to be used. After that right
click select select data, then select add and fill series value by using
temperature data. And after that select edit and fill in pressure data
