Questions:
For Paramedic/s:
What is Pre Hospital Emergency Medicine (PHEM?)

How far has pre hospital emergency medicine evolved since you have been
working here, what have you experienced yourself?

Why is it necessary to have an ambulance car accessible to the crew at all

times?

What do you think is the most important piece of PHEM that has been put in
place in the past ten years and why? (Note to self-ask everyone this)

For Pilot:

Has the new helicopter been a good example on how Pre Hospital Emergency
Medicine has evolved in the past 10 years?

As a pilot of TVAA has the evolution of Pre Hospital Emergency Medicine had
a positive or negative impact on your ability to be a successful pilot?

As the TVAA has recently started night flying, do you feel that the technology
provided is safe enough for night flying, why?
Charity:

What is the role of the charity, what do you do, how do you do it, why
is it necessary.

Do you think that when you went private it has had a positive or negative
way on how the TVAA is operated?

Doctor:
How has the use of carrying blood on-board the TVAA improved the
sustainability of life?

How has the use of carrying Plasma on-board of the TVAA improved the
sustainability of life?

How has the use of these PHEM techniques affected the crew and the
patient?

Other People:

What is the purpose of Blood analysers and why are they important and
needed on the TVAA?

What is the purpose of Ultra Sound and why is it important to be carried on

the TVAA?

How has the rate of survival increased over the years due to the evolution of
PHEM on TVAA

Intro Script:
The air ambulance is a national operation that is
used all over the country, One of the Air
Ambulances is Helimed 24 and is based in Benson
RAF base and is a vital part of the emergency
services.
The Air bus costs 2.4 million pounds a year to operate and
is ran on 100% donations and charity work which provides
funding for the air ambulance, if the charity didn’t get
finding from the public there would be no air ambulance.
