DESIGN PROCEDURE:

STEP 1: To design a crankshaft, first the dimensions are taken from video source.

STEP 2: CREO Software is opened, a new part file is created and in settings the
default dimensions are set to millimeters.
STEP 3: Select sketch draw a circle on the front plane and extrude it.

STEP 4: Draw the counterweights and extrude it.

STEP 5: Draw the main journal on the top surface of the counterweight.

STEP 6: Extrude cut is done partially on the top and bottom surface of the
counterweight.
STEP 7: Fillet is applied to the edge of the counterweights.
STEP 8: Fillet is applied to the corners of the main journals.

STEP 9: The created part of crank is mirrored to create a whole part.

STEP 10: The crank is copied and rotated at an angle of 180 degree.
STEP 11: The crank is again copied and rotated at an angle of 180 degree.

STEP 12: The initial crank is copied at a distance.

STEP 13: Thus design of a crankshaft is created and saved.
