Library

JNU has fully automated libraries comprises of around 80000 books and a number CDs & DVDs. Book section includes text books, reference books and standard
patents. Subscribed to international journals and an access to journals like IEEE-XPlore, JGate, Bentham, Nature, Manupatra. Reference section has incorporated rare
and expensive books and encyclopedias. It has an Open Public Access Catalogue to indicate subjects. Also facilitates photocopy and internet service. Book bank
facility is also available in the library. It has a reading space for individuals, lounge area for browsing and relaxed reading and an IT zone for accessing e-resources.

Hostel

The University has separate Wi-Fi enabled hostels for boys and girls equipped with an air-cooling system. Facilities such as mess, RO water supply, laundry, 24 hours
electricity and water supply has been provided to each and every hostel. TV with DTH and telephone is available. For recreation chess and carom, common room
with daily newspapers and magazines are available at all the hostels. Rooms are available on single-seated, double and triple sharing basis. Dormitories are also
available. Some AC rooms with attached washroom are also available. An international hostel for foreign students are also provided. Medical checkup with first-aid
facility is supported by JNU Hospital.Security guards are available round the clock.
