Moderation on 28th or 29th of the first diary 28th September Thursday 2nd block at
entry 10.00am 301. The grading copies should be
handed to the teachers on 27th before
teachers leave for the day.

Diagnostic tests- Individual Worker (Deadline for completing 18th August )
1.​ ​Comprehension: Two passages (one fiction, one non-fiction)- read the passages and
answer questions based on them.
2.​ ​Oral- speech - 5 minutes to prepare, speak for 2 minutes. Check for organisation of
ideas, grammar conventions, vocabulary usage. Make slips and ask them to choose.
Every student speak on a different topic.
3.​ ​Written task: A letter or a three paragraph essay on any topic (eg: your expectations
of the coming school year, what you did last summer, something about yourself that you
want to share, or anything else that you find interesting).
4. HRP: Home Reading Program. Students read a book of their choice every month and then a
block is aloted where the students come and speak/ write a review on a selected topic.
Teachers maintain an excel tracker of the same. This is a formative and needs to be recorded
on Manage Bac.
