Disclaimer: This guide does not cover the creation of games.

1. Go to kahoot.com and login (or create an account if you haven’t)

2. Click on “My Kahoots” to view/create a game

3. Click on the “Shared with me” tab to view games that were created by other users and have
been shared to your username. Click on the Play button to start the game. Or, click on the
magnifying glass to view the questions and answers in the game. If you wish to edit the game,
however, you need to duplicate it, and then go to the “Created by me” tab.

4. You can simulate the game for both the teacher’s side and the students’ side by clicking on the
magnifying glass in #3. Then, click the triple dots beside the star and proceed to “Preview”
5. On the left is what the teacher’s side will look like when you start the game (refer to #3), while
the one on the right is what the students’ side will look like (they will access the game via
kahoot.it, not kahoot.com). Click on Classic mode. Once loading is completed, a Game PIN will be
provided. Input the PIN and click Enter.

6. After inputting the Game PIN, a nickname will be asked. Input a nickname and proceed.
7. Once you see your nickname onscreen, you are in the game. Wait for other participants and
then click Start.

8. In the game, the question will be flashed on the teacher’s side with corresponding choices,
and the students will select their answer in their device.
9. After every question, statistics will be shown on the number of players who chose a
particular answer as well as the leading players and their score.
10. You can save the results of the game by clicking “Get Results” and saving them into your
device.
