METHODOLOGY

Research Design

This study which aimed to assess the level of implementation of campus security of
DMMMSU-MLUC employed the descriptive-survey method of research using the
questionnaire as data-gathering instrument. Descriptive research because it deals with the
collection and presentation of data and collection of summarizing values to describe its
group characteristics. The most common summarizing values are the measure of tendency
and variation. (Pareño and Jimenez, 2014)

Furthermore, this study made use of descriptive since it described the extent of
implementation of campus security; satisfaction on security services & functions of security
personnel; and the degree of seriousness problems encountered in the implementation of
campus security in DMMMSU-MLUC.
