C. Equipment needed: Big board to write on (Chalkboard, white board) or paper for
individual groups.

D. Activity Description: Have participants split into two groups and give each group
paper. One person will do the writing. I will give each group 4 long words to write
down. They each have the same words and have about 3 minutes per word to
figure out how many smaller words can be made from the bigger word.
(Personification splits into person, note, price, etc). The words have to be 3 or more
letters.
E. Primary interaction pattern(s): Intragroup- Everyone works as one big group together.
Intergroup- Everyone is separated into small groups and go against each other

F. One researched adaptation specific to a disability group: This activity is good with people
who have dementia at the beginning to middle stages. This activity gives everyone
a chance to participate without any individual being put on the spot. It can be
adapted for dementia patients by having everyone work together. The therapist
could write on a board and have everyone help each other out, also the words can
be any size, they wouldn’t have to be 3 or more to start out with.
