What do you think of Cyril Ramaphosa’s

President Cyril Ramaphosa has had a few
months to settle in as President of the country.
People are starting to look back at his first
months at the helm.
He promised and delivered engagement
with communities about the mining charter,
addressing corruption and state capture as
well as increased debate about land expropri-
ation without compensation.
He visited the UK during the Common-
wealth Heads of State meeting and met up
with British Prime Minister, Theresa May. The
two had a fruitful meeting regarding the busi-

This time has also been marked with clo-
sures of roads due to protest action coupled
with large scale burning and looting of trucks
and shops. Ramaphosa returned early from
his visit to Britain to meet with ANC leaders in
Mahikeng in North West. This decision came
after violent protests shut down all business

the golf Tubatse Chrome Golf Club celebrated Worker’s Day on 1 May
this week by hosting a Family Fun golf day.
The idea was to not only give families an opportunity to spend

course
time together on the course, but also give the youngsters in fam-
ilies a chance to see what the sport is all about.
Teams of fathers and sons, mothers and daugthers and a varie-
ty of other family combinations enjoyed the clear autumn day on
course.
