Objective of LMOP Program

To identify talent and promote excellence in Mathematics

To train a student in Problem solving at Mathematical Olympiad level which prepares them for perseverance required to
use problem solving in all walks of life

To create a foundation for IIT test prep as problem solving is quite similar to Olympiad problem solving

Syllabus
At a broad level, the syllabus can be divided into:

Number theory

Pure Geometry

Combinatorics

Algebra

Functional Equations

Functioning
LECTURE - ASSIGNMENT - TESTING - DISCUSSION

Post LMOPEE, successful students and parents will attend an Orientation for details of the course and course
expectations

Complete curriculum is divided into Basic Fundamentals & Advanced Olympiad training

Post the LMOP program, after a span of a month students will be evaluated to continue the program further

Each topic will be divided into lecture with classwork and home work problems

Assignment problems will be given for enhancing understanding

Regular Tests will be conducted

Lakshya has been training students in Punjab and Mumbai. 2014 Results for Mumbai: Of a batch of 24 students, we have 15
Pre-RMO selections and 1 RMO selection at RMO-2014
