Version Information
The LMT version described in this manual is V12.13.30.
Application Scenarios
The LMT is applied to the following scenarios:
l Commissioning on customer site.
l If the transmission link of a base station is broken, the base station can be connected
through the LMT.
l If an engineering problem occurs, the base station can be connected through the LMT.
Subsystems
The LMT software is divided into the following four subsystems:
l Embedded Operation Management Subsystem (EOMS) with the base station
configuration and software version management functions.
l Embedded Diagnostic Management Subsystem (EDMS) with the diagnostic test
function and auxiliary functions.
l Embedded Fault Management Subsystem (EFMS) with the alarm management
function.
l Embedded Performance Management Subsystem (EPMS) with the realtime
performance measurement function.
Note:
The EOMS, EFMS, and EDMS support online and offline configuration. The EPMS
supports only online configuration.

The Path attribute in the system environment variables must contain the bin directory of
the JRE. Otherwise, the program may operate improperly. The attribute can be checked
as follows:
1. Right-click My Computer, and then select Properties. The System Properties dialog
box is displayed.
2. Click the Advance tab, and then click Environment Variable. The Environment
Variable dialog box is displayed.
3. In the System Variable area, check whether the path contains the bin directory of
the JRE.
Caution!
The installation directory of the JRE cannot contain any Chinese character or space.

downloads the LMT version file from the base station to the local computer through
the FTP and executes the file to log in to the base station.
Note:
l When the main control board is the CC0, the LMT software cannot be compressed
into the station version package. In this case, the LMT cannot be started in IE mode.
l The websites to be accessed must be added to the trusted website list.
l If the Warning-Security dialog box is displayed, select the Always trust content
from this publisher check box.
