Today English class I have taught my children a literacy lesson which is U sound and before
starting any English lesson with them, I remind the students always to speak English only and I
used a good warming up activity (magic box) and I put an umbrella to make the children existed,
also I used the flash cards to show them new words start with U and I notice that most of the
children where happy with this engagement activity.

What were you trying to achieve in your lesson?
What did the students do?

This lesson is for children 4 to 5 years old in kg2, in the classroom circle area and the activities
where at the 4 areas (English table- crafts – math). In this lesson I tried to use different strategies
to manage and control the children is to encourage then and use stickers and good words
according to Montessori "The only results young children are interested in are the ones that end
up making them feel good about themselves and their abilities" (Nicholas, 2017).

The students where very involved with me also when I remind them that I will give the sticker for
the ones who listen to me they sit nicely and about the ones who answer my brain storm questions
they try and think.
