Is Trump a Good President 2

This paper is all about how to show if our country is being run by a person we can trust

but also is our president doing any good for our country too. Is our president taking care of the

Economy, Immigration, Healthcare, Foreign Policy, and Social media. These are all the main

things that a president should take care of when in office and if is taking care of these things then

he is doing great as our President of the United States.

Do you feel safe with the man that is running our country? Since Donald Trump was

elected in 2016, He has been known as one of the most hated presidents ever to run our country.

He might be the most hated president but has been do worse for our country. Has he been taking

care of our economy or is he taking care of the kids in school and their education and etc.. All the

things that he has done is it doing good things for our country.

When the election of 2016 was going on and Hillary and Trump was competing for the

election, everyone was skeptical about whether either one of these people should be running our

country. People found both candidates to be idiotic and was not fit at all to be president. Trump

was elected but did people even want him to be president with all the things that he has done.

Economy

Trump has done good with our economy pretty well since he has been elected. Trump said he

wanted to create up to 25 million jobs over 10 years according to bbc.com. Trump so far is at the

standard amount of job creations at around 167,000. Trump is also has made a big boost In the

stock market. The S&P 500 index of the leading 500 American companies is up around 22 per

cent. Donald Trump and his cabinet members also said that they was planning on bringing the

US GDP to 4 per cent a year and the average lately has been at 2.5%. Trump and his members

have brought the GDP to 3% during his time so far as president so he is above the average but is

willing to keep his word and bring that number up to 4%. Trump so far has increased the U.S

debt. The broad US current deficit, which includes the trade deficit, in the second quarter of 2017

actually increased to $123bn (£94bn)(). This number just keeps growing and growing and we

can’t let it get higher than what it already is.

Immigration

Trump has had a plan with immigration and it stand out the most about his presidency.

Trump said that he was going to be build a wall on the border between the U.S and Mexico. This

wall that he is planning on building is going to cost up to 75 billion dollars and to keep and

maintain this wall it will cost 125 million dollars per a year. According to CNN Politics Trump

has hired 5,000 more border patrol officers since trump was elected. Trump End the DACA on

March 5 of 2018. DACA stand for Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals and this program was

also created by Barack Obama’s administration. I gave people that were immigrants a chance to

live without deportation and get two year work permits.

Healthcare

Trump’s plan with healthcare since the start of his presidency was to weaken Obama

Care. According to Kimberly Amadeo (2018),

On December 22, 2017, President Trump signed the Tax Cuts and Jobs Act. It repeals the

Obamacare tax on those who don't get health insurance. This removes the incentive for

healthy people to get health insurance. The CBO estimated 13 million people would drop

coverage as a result. Health care costs will rise because there will be fewer healthy people

paying premiums. Health insurance companies will be left with just the sicker people.

Trump is basically getting rid of Obama care and the price of health insurance is skyrocketing.

President Trump stopped reimbursing insurers who waived deductibles and copayments for low-

income customers.

Foreign Policy

Trump has done a lot with foreign policy and the one that sticks out the most is with

North Korea. North Korea has fired up to at least 23 missiles and ignored many international

calls about it. Trump threatened North korea and said he would totally destroy them. Many times

Trump also called North Korea’s leader Kim Jong Un the “Little Rocket man”. Trump called a

strike on Syria-government airfield and because of this Russia said that this was against

international law and hurt the U.S relation with Russia. Trump has dealt with Israel and made

jerusalem the capital Israel and said they were moving a embassy to jerusalem and it showed to

other countries that we was siding with Israel. Trump also had mentioned that the U.S had

foolishly gave Pakistan up to 33 million dollars to aid them over the past years.

Social media

Trump has been known for being on social media a lot but the app that is his favorite social

media is Twitter. Trump has a lot of tweets that you just wouldn’t think you would see coming

from your president. When Liangelo ball went on a trip to China, Liangelo decided to shoplift

from a store in China and was arrested. Trump was one of the first people to tweet about this

incident. Trump is all over twitter and tweeting stuff. According to CNN Trump was so famous

with twitter he got hosted on CNN with a special broadcast called Trump & Twitter. Trump also

tweeted to other countries that he has a big button to them, talking about missiles and said that he

ain’t afraid to use them.

Trump isn’t the worst president that we have had. Trump has done a lot of good with the

country as a whole. Trump has done a lot for the economy. He has created 167,000 jobs in the

short amount of time he has been in office. The more jobs for people that better it will be for our

country. He has also made a big boost in the stock markets with the S&P. Raising American

companies to 22 per cent.

Trump and his wall that he is wanting to build is just not what we exactly need. We want

americans to be able to have as many jobs as possible and make sure the US is not overly

populated but it’s not that big of an issue as he makes it to be. This wall is just putting the US in

even more debt than what we already are. He has order more border patrol officers also because

of the wall. We want to also give everyone the american dream to live in the USA. The land of

the free that every immigrant looks forward too.

Healthcare is something that every person in the US should have. Obama Care has shown

to make a lot more people have healthcare. Trump is wanting to throw this out the window. The

thing that made Obama Care so successful for everyone is that is dropped the price for

Healthcare. If Trump gets rid of Obama Care the price for every single american thats wants

healthcare or needs it won't be able too because the price will be outrageous.

Trump hasn’t done the greatest with the US creating allies around the world. We have

been beginning to become allies with Russia by calling that airstrike at that Syria airfield. If I had

to say anything about Trump with foreign policy is that he has shown the USA's dominance to

other Country. Like Calling North korea’s leader the little rocket man and this lead into to one of

the biggest things that no president has ever done. Trump is the most active president on twitter.

He was so active that they had a special with him. Trump on social media to much can also be a

problem. We can not have our president of the United States be tweeting at other countries that

he ain’t afraid to use nukes and missiles and threatening other countries. This puts the US and all

the people that live in the US in Danger and if it continues this just might put the US on the spot

possible one day. Out of all this information on how Trump has done in every single category for

our country to be successful and someone came up to me asked me if I think Trump is a good

president I would say that he is not the worst but he has not done the greatest job at running our

country. There is a lot of pointless acts that he is doing that does not good for our country.

Trump is probably at the bottom of the list as greatest presidents of all time.
