2. Read these two senteces. Which suggests thet something is temporary?

Which suggests that something is permanent? What tenses are used?

a) Since last month, I’ve been commuting between France and


Belgium.
b) She’s lived in Brussels for years.

ASW:
 The first sentence is in present perfect for it's grammatical composition
and that means that is temporary, because we use the present
perfect continuous when talking about activities that are temporary
or unfinished.
 The second sentence is in the present perfect simple that serves to
talk about actions that were done in the past but that are connected
with the present in a more permanent way.

3. What is thr difference between the use of for and since in the entences in
2?

The difference is that since was used to specify a point of time, in this case,
last month; and in the second sentence, for talk about amounts of time:
years.
