Check list and prerequisite order before using Advance warehouse management module:

1. Enable “Use advance warehouse management” setup in the parameter.

2. Defining warehouse details and layout:
i) Location type: AWHM \Setup\Warehouse setup\Location type
ii) Location format
iii) Dock management profile (If required)
iv) Location profile (To define attributes for location)
v) Warehouse zone and zone groups (If required)
3. Create Locations
4. Location setup wizards.
5. Location stocking units.
6. Storage dimension group: Enable “Use AWHM process” check mark.
7. Tracking dimension group:
i) Capture serial number \Select picking
ii) Select serial number control check mark
8. Unit of measure sequence group: AWHM \ setup\ Warehouse setup \ Unit sequence groups
9. Inventory statuses: To show whether the items are available (or) blocked
10. Default inventory status;
11. Reservation hierarchy
12. Change reservation hierarchy
13. Released product setups:
i) Setup “Unit sequence ID” and Reservation hierarchy
14. Location directives (For inventory movements):
i) Put away incoming items
ii) Pick and stage items for outbound transactions
iii) Pick and put raw materials for productions
iv) Replenish locations
15. Fixed locations: For inventory replenishment
16. Work template (To create and process work)
i) Inbound transactions
ii) Picking of inventory items
iii) Production tasks such as picking and put away of raw materials.
iv) Use edit query to assign warehouse.

Mobile device setup:

1. Create new work classes (To process types of work order)

2. Define the layout of mobile device menus.
3. Configure the look and feel of the mobile device (Device layouts)
4. Create mobile device users
5. Setup label layouts and define settings for printing labels.
