• Khawla begins very enthusiastically, with a big smile and a very positive attitude

• Khawla is always making eye contact with her students.
• Khawla does a good job in demonstrating the activity before the learners work.
• She continuously encourages the students to participate.
• Khawla walks around the class to check student’s work on the task.
• Khawla does a great job in modeling the activity first for the whole class on the white
board, then ask the students to work on the same activity individually.
• Khawla created a great worksheet to assess learner’s understanding, she asks the
learners to cut the words and post them in the correct area in the worksheet of the tree.
• Khawla keeps the learners working, helps the learners during their work and provides
feedback.
• Khawla rewards the students by giving them candy.
Areas for development:
Khawla must set a long term goal of developing her English language skills. Luckily,
Khawla is already very fluent and very comfortable communicating with her students and
her colleagues in English. Now, she must focus on making less grammatical errors when
she speaks.
Khawla, when you play video for your students next time, make sure to act with the song,
to encourage all the students and motivate them to sing along with the video.
Final comment:
Generally, Khawla is comfortable in her role as a teacher. The assigned time of each
activity was suitable and the lesson objective met during the class period.
