INTRODUCTION

 The approach of the gospel as we received it from the West was good
in laying foundations for Christianity in Africa. But not effective in
bringing Africa to kingdom transformation. As good as the Western
approach is, it has not worked for Africa to raise her to the glory
ordained for her since the foundations of the earth.
 All the Bible schools and theological seminaries we go to have a
Western culture approach. This is not bad, the only concern is,
people process information based on their culture. So we need a
theology with an African culture perspective.
 For instance, a missionary went to preach to very cruel people in
Hebrides Islands. They believed in cruelty and hardness. The person
who killed more people was termed as a hero and became their king.
On explaining to them about Jesus who was crucified through betrayal
of Judas, they all clapped for Judas saying he was their hero. The
missionary who became confused had to change his approach. He
learned that every year the neighboring tribe gave out one young man
every year. He had watched this happen.
 That neighboring tribe did this because they didn‟t want to go to war
with them. This young man was a sacrifice for Peace. From this yearly
peace event he got his message. He said to them that Jesus was the
sacrifice for Peace between the heaven and earth. And that by him
heaven had declared peace with them on earth. By this approach

2
many were converted including their chief and they began the first
church. This tells us how important the approach is.
 Africa is unique in her culture and she needs a theology that is
pragmatic rather than ideological. Show me one nation in Africa that
was fully transformed by the Western understanding of the gospel.
There‟s absolutely none!” One may say South Africa, but South Africa
made some strides because of the Dutch people. Yet up to now South
African church is so naive that she can‟t champion the gospel to the
nations of the earth.
 Africa has produced refined and well articulated theologians in the
last Fifty years. Kenya of all the nations of Africa has the most refined
theologians.(The western theology). Yet the Kenyan church is not even
able to carry herself, live alone other nations. The Nigerian Church
on the contrary doesn‟t have the best theologians. Yet because of
repackaging the gospel into the African perspective, she‟s the 21st
Century gospel front runners. She has planted big and powerful
churches in the largest cities of the earth.
 Nigeria has become the 21st Nation in the gospel and hence
economically. A research shows that Nigeria is one of the most rapid
growing economies in the world. She‟s overtaken. Whenever we had
Christian revival, the economic and social revival followed
automatically. Take for example The Europe, USA, South Korea and
others. Same with Nigeria, she has has overtaken South Africa to
become the largest economy in Africa. She‟s now the world‟s gospel
backbone. Out of the 10 largest congregations in the world 6 are in
Nigerian.
 In South Korea and generally Asia whose people are highly spiritist
needed a gospel which supersedes any other worship. Dr Cho came
up with a gospel of hope higher than the spirits. His gospel was full of
manifestation and thus he conquered the strongman in the territory.
 At the beginning of his ministry he was brought a woman who was
completely paralyzed, he was given seven days to heal her or else they

3
kill him. On the seventh day the woman was miraculously healed and
a great revival broke out in the city.

T HE AFRICAN GOSPEL APPROACH

1. The Kingdom Culture

 Africa is a Kingdom society. Every ethnic group had a kingdom
order. Even today those who have migrated to foreign nations make
small kingdoms there.
 Africa needs strong leaders who come as humble kings for Christ
Jesus, carry power and authority of the kingdom yet are humble.
Lamb -lamb apologetic leaders and those seeking to be theologically
correct in the perspective of the western gospel have no place in
Africa.
 Africans are Kingdom people, contrary to the Westerns who will
pick everything you told them and practice it as long as they believe
in it. Africans need a Kingdom supervision.
 In the Western if you‟re learned, you‟ve real substance and not very
strong in leadership people can follow you easily. But in Africa
leadership, the King notion comes first. Even if you have no much
substance and you come with the balanced authority of Christ,
multitudes will follow you.
 This explains why Africans have a great love for big tittles, even
those in foreign nations like the Afro-Americans. Names like

9
Apostle, Archbishop, Bishop, Prophet and the like reflect the
African Kingdom order hangovers.

2. Manifestation (Demonstration) Of The Kingdom Of God

 Rather than theological arguments Africans want demonstration of
the power of the gospel first. Without the demonstration of the
power of Gospel there can be no impact. This is because Africans
have deep roots in magic and they need to see something more
powerful than magic.
 Billy Graham was rated by America to be the greatest Evangelist of
the 20th Century. He became great evangelist without miracles. He
only preached the love of God through Jesus Christ. Millions were
converted to the gospel. Americans being mind people didn‟t need
great manifestation of the gospel.
 The Greeks were mind people, a learned apostle called Paul was
commissioned to them. Jews were faith people, Peter the Apostle,
who didn‟t have great knowledge was sent to them

3. The Prophetic Dimension

 Africa has deep roots in this spirit of divination the satanic
equivalent of prophetic dimension in the Bible faith. Without this
dimension Africa is not complete. It supersedes divination and thus
overthrowing it‟s rule.
 This accounts to why charismatic witchcraft preachers have
prevailed more in Africa and any place we‟ve Africans. Without the
prophetic dimension of the gospel Africa is not complete. We‟re a
product of the spirit of divination which rules in Africa than no
other place in the world. The only power which counters this is the
prophetic dimension of the gospel.
 Africa is about to produce the most powerful prophetic preachers
the world has never known. The prophetic movement has been

10
born in Africa in dimensions no generation has ever seen. The
spirit of Elijah will be more evident in Africa than any other place
in the world.

4. Africans Need To See The Unconditional Love Of Christ

 Our culture taught us survival, the weak were mercilessly killed to
give way to the strong. Killing the weak in the African culture is a
great honor. That‟s why the legalistic gospel has attracted so many
people. Grace and mercy are strange words in Africa. This has
impeded the gospel.
 We need Gospel ministers with great power and authority in Christ
Jesus, yet carrying the gospel of unconditional love of Christ. This
will lead to a great spiritual transformation. Legalistic gospel has
impeded spiritual growth in Africa. Even Nigeria which has
liberated herself from the western theology, has never broken the
yoke of legalism. I strongly believe a movement born from Kenya
will break this yoke and lead the church in Africa to a higher
dimension of the walk with God.

17
PARADIGM SHIFT

Definition: paradigm shift is the complete change of perspectives,

patterns and methods hence the approach. A change in totality of how
we see (perceive) and do things.
 Africans are beginning to realize their potentials and are coming
out to think out of the box of western culture. We‟re beginning to
realize that we can do far greater things if we think as Africans not
as the Westerns. We‟re unique and that uniqueness comes out
when we think as us and not through the mindset of another
person.
 We don‟t have to invent a car, plane, a computer and other
technical devices. This has already been done. There are still
undiscovered things. This is what African should major in. There‟s
still a wide space to revolution through invention and innovation.
 May be we can discover elements not discovered. We can invent a
new form of government which works better for us.
That unique essence of Africans is beginning to manifest in: Spiritual,
Economic, Social and Physical realms. We‟ve been colonized in the mind

18
too long. We broke the Physical chains of colony but the mental and
spiritual chains got tighter.
 Our preachers believed that they can‟t do much unless they‟re
spiritually and financially supported by the West.
 Nigeria has become the First Nation to break those chains. The
church there has broken the spiritual and financial barrier without
the West. Kenya and other nations are falling suit.
The African Church has been using theology based on the western
culture. Up to this day all bible school‟s curriculum are written by the
Western. This is not bad, the only problem is people basically process
information based on their culture. For instance, an African thinks as
„US‟ ( the social fiber), westerns thinks as me (individualistic order).
Up to this day there‟s no single bible school curriculum written by an
Africa. There is no exposition bible written by African and we‟ve very few
theological books, if any, written by African. Yet our problems and
spiritual hindrances are different from the West. Our theology should
address the African challenges not the western.

Different Approaches

Greeks Approach; By Apostle Paul

 Apostle Paul knew the gentiles had mind problems in believing the
gospel. Gentiles Sought for Knowledge. So his epistles are written
to address this problem. Expounding the reality of the gospel to a
rational mind.
“For the Jews require a sign, and the Greeks seek after wisdom.” 1
Corinthians 1:22 KJV
 Precisely apostle Paul is saying; if you are preaching to the Jews
show them a supernatural sign of the prove of God. But when you
19
go to the Greeks you have to explain rationally the existence of
God. An evangelist preaching to Jews must carry supernatural signs.
But an evangelist preaching to Greeks must carry information
loaded with anointing backed by demonstration of the power of
gospel.

Indian Approach By Dr T.L Osborn.

 When TL Osborn went to India and preached the gospel using the
western approach, the Indians told him that they had a lot of gods
and they were happy that he brought another God who had a son
called Jesus. They assured him that they will add Jesus in the list of
their many gods. He was literally put off.
 He closed his missionary journey and went back home where he
sought God for an Indian approach. On returning he came with
another approach; Manifesting the power of Jesus Christ as the
prove that Jesus is not one of the many God‟s but a superior
creator God of the gods. By this new approach he established the
kingdom of God in India.

South Korea, East Asia

 This is the Land of Buddhism. Unlike the West, East Asia is a land
of spiritism - a believe and exercise of human spirit to perform
supernatural things.
 The young preacher David Yoggi Cho, in 1958 after the Korean
War, begun to preach the gospel of the Lord Jesus Christ. He
proclaimed the gospel of a greater personality than Buddha.
 Korean are basically worshipers of deities. They needed to see a
prove of the creator of deities. He went to the streets preaching the
miracle power of Jesus Christ. To his surprise he learned that the
spiritist in the streets could cure diseases like cancer and other

20
terminal diseases. He had to show a greater prove that Jesus was the
God incarnate.
 He learned that though the spiritist performed supernatural works
they were limited. There were cases they couldn‟t handle. These are
the cases he handled and greater number of the people were
converted to the Bible faith.
He begun to preach when Korea was over 90% Buddhism but today
Korea is over 75% Christian.

Our Philosophy

1. Relationship
 First with God through Jesus Christ in the Holy Spirit. Second
with your spiritual father as an individual and then cooperatively.
Third with one another, we‟re our brothers keeper. Four with the
world. We don‟t believe in exclusion no matter the religion, one‟s
faith or lack of it, color, tribe or social affiliations.
2. Contagious Evangelism.
 The two (2)cubed philosophy. One of the greatest undoing of this
philosophy is unfaithful people who will not teach others but will
come out you and speak evil of the leader and the doctrine.

“ And the things you have heard me say in the presence of many
witnesses entrust to reliable people who will also be qualified to teach
others.” 2 Timothy 2:2 NIV
27
“ And the things that thou hast heard of me among many witnesses,
the same commit thou to faithful men, who shall be able to teach
others also.” 2 Timothy 2:2 KJV

“And the [instructions] which you have heard from me along with
many witnesses, transmit and entrust [as a deposit] to reliable and
faithful men who will be competent and qualified to teach others also.”
2 Timothy 2:2 Amplified Version.

“Na mambo yale uliyoyasikia kwangu mbele ya mashahidi wengi, hayo

uwakabidhi watu waaminifu watakaofaa kuwafundisha na wengine.” 2
Timotheo 2:2.
3. Empowerment
We believe in empowerment of our disciples in the areas of their
specialization. Whatever is in our power to do to empower our people we
will do it for the glory of God.
 Spiritual empowerment
 Economic empowerment
 Social empowerment
 Physical empowerment

The Complete Package Of The Gospel
1. The Spiritual Purpose. That the saints would conquer evil powers
by REVELATION and POWER of the Gospel. Revelation is the key
to divine power. The letter kills but the Spirit gives life.
2. The Economic Purpose. The the saints would transform world
economy by supernatural wealth creation. This has happened many
times, most of great inventors and innovators were believers in
Christ like Mr Faraday, the inventor of dynamo. Mr, Albert Einstein
the father of nuclear science. Mr Isaac Newton the inventor of forces
of nature. Mr Barclays the founder of Barclays Bank. The wright
brothers who invented the plane 1903 sons of a bishop.
3. The Social Purpose. That the saints by their lifestyles influence the
world with heaven culture. One of the greatest social revolution was
led by Martin Luther King jr. He was inspired by God to fight for
social justice. Moses, Joseph, Daniel, Ezra, Nehemiah were all social
leaders.
4. The Territorial Purpose. That the saints would capture new
territories by the power of Gospel. Kingdom expansion. Here comes
the divine command: GO YE.
“And Jesus came and spake unto them, saying, All power is given unto me in
heaven and in earth. Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in

32
the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost.” “ALL
POWER IS GIVEN TO ME IN HEAVEN AND EARTH:” Jesus is
saying He has The Kingdom power both spiritual (Heaven) and natural
(earth). So using the spiritual power we’ve to influence the natural
sphere. Matthew 28:18-19 KJV

5.The Physical Purpose. That the saints would manifest the inner
transformation in the physical. The saints are supposed to be a standard
in the physical things. The best architectures, city designers, engineers,
doctors and others. Our clothing, houses, business premises must bear
the hallmark of the kingdom.
 Unfortunately most saints have focused on the „Spiritual Purpose‟
only. We still think anointing is not involved in wealth creation,
social structures, rising a family and every sphere of human
operations. Most saints are busy going to heaven. Not busy taking
dominion here.

37
Authority - Leadership
 The principle of authority is simple: AUTHORITY IS GIVEN.
This is the divine formula to power. The principle is universal. It
applies in the family institution, the church and cooperate world.
 In a family set up the son or daughter who we pleases the father is
given the authority. In the world leadership, authority is given
through a family order or a certain law.
 The point is clear; Authority must be legally and properly
exchanged from one hand to the other.
 Incase we are changing the order of authority we serve under, there
must be proper RELEASE and handing over to the next authority.
You can‟t serve under an authority and just walk out. Moses had to
ask permission from the authority that once received Israelites in
Egypt to willingly release them. With the great philosophy; „LET
MY PEOPLE GO.‟ It is a fact that the authority was oppressive and
cruel, but a proper way of release was to be done.

Ways People Get Authority

38
1. Authority Given
 Willingly and legally handed over. This can be through
appointment. In the biblical sense we‟re anointed.
 Jesus‟ Authority was given by John the Baptist. That‟s why when
the Jewish religion leaders asked Him; „By whose authority are
doing these things.‟ He asked them; „By whose authority did John
baptize.‟ In other words Jesus was saying; „John‟s Authority was
legal, he was a son of a priest and you believed he was a prophet.
He‟s the one who gave me this authority.‟
One of the most important questions as far as gospel ministry is
concerned is;
 WHO GAVE YOU THAT AUTHORITY ?
 WERE YOU GIVEN BY SOMEONE WHO HAD IT LEGALLY?
 HAVE YOU KEPT THE ORDER SINCE YOU RECEIVED THE
AUTHORITY?
 DID YOU KNOW YOU CAN‟T CHANGE TO ANOTHER
AUTHORITY UNLESS THE FIRST AUTHORITY RELEASES
YOU?
King Solomon succeeded because his authority was legally handed over
by his father. There‟s always I silent power struggle in a family set up and
only him who the father appoints receives the grace. This kind authority
has continuity. Ask yourself, who handed to you the authority you‟ve.

2.Authority Usurped (Grabbed)

 This type of authority is found in the son of David Absalom. He
usurped his father‟s authority and fell terribly.
 The major reason why people usurp Authority is pride; spiritual
pride or natural pride. It is called Satan‟s culture.
 Puffed up by talents, gifts and achievements one thinks that his
leader who may be less gifted is irrelevant. Not knowing that there‟s
a great difference between GIFTING AND LEADERSHIP.
39
 Dr Oral Roberts gave an excellent analogy of this. He said there‟s a
old man who travelled with him to gospels meetings, locally and
internationally. This man never preached but was always there.
After every meeting having seen the great miracles which happened
he would come to Mr Roberts and say; „You can do better Roberts.‟
At a point he got annoyed and wanted to rebuke this old man who
had never done a single miracle yet after seeing lame walk, blind
see, deaf and mute hear and speak he says I can do better. Then the
Holy Spirit whispered to him; „You can‟t rebuke him, I‟ve kept him
there to preserve you, lest you get puffed up.
 We all need this kind of a person in our lives. He may not have
achieved much, he may have his shortcomings but a person who
keeps us from self destruction. One who sees our weaknesses very
clearly and yet believes in us. Moses had one, his father inlaw
Jethro. A man who had a church of 7daughters only but he advised
a man who lead 1.2 million people. See this in Exodus 18. All
authority usurpers have a tragic end.

3. Situational Authority
 This is authority that falls on one by chance. This happens when a
society or a group needs a leader and they have to pick one of them
to lead them. The best example in the Bible is the judges in the
book of judges. All judges were situational.
 In a family set up it happens often when the parents die and the
family needs a leader. The elder brother or sister takes up the
responsibility.
 In democratic governments saw it in Great Britain when Mr Tony
Blair resigned from being the prime minister, Gordon Brown took
over the office without a single vote casted. Situational leaders have
no continuity.

The Curse Of Africa

▪Witchcraft
▪ Diseases and Infirmities
▪Poverty
▪Ignorance
▪False religious movements
▪Corruption

1. Witchcraft
 A thorough spiritual mapping has clearly shown that the strongman
of Africa is witchcraft. The Python rules Africa more than any other
place in the world.
 This demonic authority is called the queen of Africa, the queen of
heaven and the mother goddess.
 Her altars are found in Egypt's pyramids, which are one of the greatest
demonic altars in the world. Mount kenya was also believed to be an
habitation of the gods.

46
 In the modern times witchcraft has found its way in the church and
sits in the very altar of God through men who are supposed to be
God's representatives .
 Witchcraft has been repackaged by the enemy and brought in the
church hidden in the Bible. This is one of the greatest abominations
of our generation. Using the holy book, holy titles, and worse is the
use of the name of Jesus Christ the Lord and the Holy Spirit to
perform witchcraft.
 Prophetically speaking, some of the most wicked cults of the 21st
century comes from Africa. Africa's spiritual powers in the the
demonic world will be felt by this generation. But before then Africa's
spiritual power in Jehovah God shall be felt in this generation more
than any other generation.
 Because of the roots of witchcraft, it's not surprising to realize that
one of the first satanic movements in the world began in Africa. That
is the first freemasonry branch began in Africa with the Pythagoras
the architects of the pyramids.
2. Diseases And Infirmities
 It's true that Africans are "notorious worshippers "as said by one of
our own John S Mbiti -a foremost African religious scholar.
Everything in Africa has a spiritual factor. Africans easily connect with
the spiritual world more than other races. This is their strength and
weakness. If they connect with God it becomes their blessings, if they
connect with satanic forces it becomes their curse.
 Diseases and infirmities in Africa have a great spiritual factor. One of
the disease that was wickedly designed in a laboratory somewhere in
the western world was tested in Africa, the monster called; HIV. Later
they wickedly engineered a brother" to HIV called; Ebola. These
monsters plus many others have depopulated Africa.
 The good news is; the cure, not vaccine for HIV, Ebola and other
killer diseases will be invented by the children of Africa. 'For I shall
heal my people Africa.' says the Lord.

47
 More to that the spiritual gift of Healing and miracles will work in
Africa more than any other place on planet earth. Millions shall be
healed from terminal diseases as the Lord heals his people Africa. For
the first time diseases like cancer and Diabetes will be cured from
Africa by supernatural and medical discovery
3. Poverty
 Africa is potentially the richest continent but it is the poorest in terms
of living standards. By 2012 44% of sub-Sahara Africa lived below
poverty line that is $1.25 per day. Mind you that is below poverty line.
Poverty level in Africa generally goes way beyond 60%.
 We're poor because of; first the spirit factor; the strongman of Africa
thrives in poverty. This is because allegiance to witchcraft deprives us
the ability to focus and plan our future. We leave it to the power of
the gods to choose if we shall be rich or poor. We give up our power
of choice to external forces.
 The second factor is that of poor governance and leadership. Most of
the political leaders rule with the ancient African kings in mind, that
they should be filthy rich while their subjects grapple for food so that
they can be weak enough to be ruled. Most presidents and leaders in
Africa are filthy rich at the expense of the poor citizens.
 But the greatest curse lies in: the men in collar who have succumbed
to the same spirit, they fleece their flock to become rich while they
leave their flock wallowing in poverty. I've no problem with men of
God being rich, Idhahosa was one of the richest man of God but he
made thousands if not millions rich. Nigeria has became the world's
centre of the gospel because of a man who believed in being rich and
making his people rich.
 Most of the fathers of the gospel in Africa after the Pentecostal
movement of the 60s and 70s, went to America and Europe to beg for
money and used it to enrich themselves. Little did they know, it is
more blessed to give than to receive. Now they've reached a point of
exit with nothing behind them. Archbishop Idhahosa took a different
path, he believed in giving, becoming rich, making your people rich.
48
4. Corruption
 Out of the ten most corrupt nations in the World six are African
nations. Corruption is the political HIV of Africa. A few reasons
contribute to this; One and the least, is the infancy of African
democracy. Two, is the culture, three and the greatest, is the spiritual
factor.
 The Infancy Of Democracy: Generally Africa is 50years old in
independence but hardly 20 years in democracy. After independence,
Africa fell in the hands of leaders with ancient African mindset of
keeping the multitudes poor while a massing great wealth that they
may come begging to them. Some nations are still in that captivity .
The western world took advantage of these bad leaders and used them
to keep siphoning the natural wealth in Africa. Now the democracy is
beginning to grow with countries like Kenya, South Africa, Guinea
and others taking the lead. Though there are hiccups yet the
democracy it taking root. I perceive strong and powerful democracy
coming out of Africa.
 The African Culture: Probably apart from the Jews, no other race
believed in communal and social order like Africans. We believed that
power, wealth and leadership were more a communally than
individually owned. This still lingers in us so when we ascend in
power we want to bring everyone in our communities to it. Nepotism
and hence, ethnicity rather than leadership credentials. Thus
corruption thrives. In mature democracy credentials count above
anything else.
 The Spiritual Factor: the gods must use the leaders in power to keep
the multitudes poor and oppressed so that they can receive blind
worship and allegiance.
5. False Religious Movements
This entails:-

False Religions:
49
(a). Those who deny Jesus as the messiah of God and substituted him
with another prophet.
(b). Those who substitute Jesus Christ with any other personality like
Mary or other saints.
(c). Those who worship another deity apart from The Creator God

Christian Cultic And Heretic Movements

(a)Those who deny the Trinity
(b) Those who deny the Bible is the word of God and the final authority

Charismatic Witchcraft
 These are preachers who use their gifts to manipulate, intimidate and
ultimately control the saints.
 Others use the Name of Jesus and the holy scriptures to deceive the
saints for their personal gains.
Fanatical Movements
 Religious movements with unfounded teachings. They‟re based on
emotions and ungrounded ideas.
6. Ignorance
 By 2015 the illiteracy rate was 37%, that is, out of every 100 people 37
didn't know how to read and write.
 Ignorance is; You don‟t know and don‟t bother to know.
 One of the greatest contributors to this is the spiritual factor. The
demonic forces of witchcraft wants to keep people in ignorance so as
to rule them well.

50
Out Of The Class Learning

 How can we tackle the strongman of witchcraft in Africa?

 What‟s the Cure for Africa‟s scourge of diseases and infirmities?

51
 Give at least 4 false religious movements which are a threat to the
gospel in Africa.

 What‟s the cure for ignorance?

 As a minister of the gospel, how can you help your people to tackle
poverty?

52
 As the minister of the gospel how can you tackle corruption?

Strategic Positioning Under Spiritual Authority

 This is a call to Royal kingdom order.

 This should be said with all gravity: God Honors Family Order And
His Government More Than any Other Spiritual Exercises. If you
place yourself under the right family order, through the spiritual
father appointed by Christ over your life. You've placed yourself under
His Government and you will experience His presence.
 The Bible quotes people who knew little or nothing about God but by
positioning themselves under men called and anointed by God, they
activated the power of God to work upon their lives. Think of Rahab
the harlot, she positioned herself under the government (anointing)
of Joshua, though the two spies. What happened from that act of
faith reveals the power of placing oneself under the right anointing.
Other people like Ruth were shifted from idol worshiping philistines
to the royal family of David.

53
 For over 22years of ministry I've learned that it's not about one's
abilities (gifting and talents) or smartness in ministry. It's about the
honor you give to the spiritual authority placed over your life.
 Archbishop Idhahosa and other sons of Africa picked the revival fire
in the early 60s. But most of them went ahead preaching seeing
miracles and great signs. They forgot the foundational principle of
spiritual father. Archbishop Idhahosa upheld this principle seriously,
he honored his spiritual father TL Osborne. Sometimes he would
closed all church accounts and took that money to his spiritual father.
He's remained the most powerful carrier of God's kingdom in Africa.
This man before he rested, only at 60, he left a university and a great
kingdom center in Benin city. He is the person who overthrew the
demonic strongman of Nigeria and made thousands of men of God
to rise from that nation.
 In Uganda Robert Kayanja has risen and is taking nations for God.
One of his foundational belief is honoring his spiritual father.
Kayanja is second generation of the revival moment of the 60s, He
has excelled far more than his contemporaries under this principle.
 In kenya, with the thousands of men of God, one man is advancing in
grace taking regions and nations for God, remaining focused in his
vision. His name is Bishop Wilfred Lai. His foundational value is
honoring his spiritual father. At one point he bought his spiritual
father a car worthy 18 Millions kshs. He has begun his own cable TV
channel, build the first glass cathedral in sub Sahara Africa and many
more achievements.
 Other gifted, smart and powerful men of God who didn't honor this
principle are still struggling to rise up or at least they've nothing to
show their generations and generations to come.
 Gifting, talents and smartness are wonderful. But it should be noted,
with all gravity, they're like arrows without a bow. The anointing you
honor becomes the bow that sends you to your destiny of greatness.
Arrows without a bow, however sharp and perfect they're, they can't
achieve the purpose they were made for.

54
3 Factors Are Vital In Calling.
(a). Spiritual father.
(b). The anointing.
(c). Faith giving.
 No man ever highly upheld these 3 failed to achieve his greatness
wether he was gifted or not, smart or not. These factors a are God
designed principles to greatness. That greatness may be of grace not
effort. Note: submission under spiritual father, tested and proven
guarantees anointing. Giving propels your ministry to greatness.
Punchline: Try It, Activate The Power Within You By Connecting
With The Right Spiritual Authority And Honoring It By A Single
Faith Action. Even Your Worship And Service Tomorrow Sunday
Will Yield Extra Ordinary Results.
 Praying and fasting, reading your bible and doing all devotional
exercises is like loading your phone with data bundles. You can only
activate those bundles by honoring an anointing God has appointed
and anointed. This is because by thus doing you touch divine
government and as you know the government carries power

Wisdom For Students

 Let no man deceive you or bewitch by his/her prophecy or an
eloquent sermon. Though these are important you need more than
that.
 For those of you who are ministers of the gospel, your congregation
doesn't need another fiery sermon or another prophetic word. True
these are important but they need more than that. Below here is what
you need as a believer:-
1. You need a leader who can walk with you to your destiny. (To your
hall of fame-greatness)

55
 He could be eloquent or not, fiery or not, of your ethnic, racial or
religious affiliation or not, but a True Leader. Not a leader by title but
one whose lifestyle reflects leadership. Who carries the DNA of
leadership from Christ himself.
 One who believes in you and is willing to pay the price to see you
through to greatness. Not one who needs you when you're strong but
denounces you when you're weak.
 One who has the practical knowledge needed to lead, not a religious
dogmatic preacher who dies for what God said but refuses what the
Spirit is saying now.
 One who sees your heart and sees far and in detail into the horizon of
your destiny and is willing to pay the price of taking you there.
 One who is not intimidated by your gifts, talents and achievements
but always sees an opportunity to make you better. Such a leader is
comfortable if you achieve far beyond his achievements. He knows
very well you're his seed.
 Show me a person who succeeded without a leader and I will tell you
go ahead without a leader. Mentorship is a necessity in true greatness.
In God, Submission is the only Key to authority! Not prayer without
submission, not your gifts or talents, not your knowledge (spiritual or
natural). In the biblical faith nothing justifies and qualifies leadership
without Submission or rather authority received without submission.
(Usurped authority)

2. You Need The Anointing Upon Your Life

 It's unfortunate that what we call anointing today is a show of human
abilities. True anointing is the power of Holy Spirit operating within
and through a person. It's the Christ in us manifesting to the world
through personal transformation and transformation of the world
around us.
 True anointing is one of the most definite and unforgettable
experiences of life. In the words of A.W Tozer, ' No one was anointed

56
and didn't know when and where it happened.' If you're not sure if
you've had this experience know that you're relying on the gifting and
talents in you, but be warned that these will bring good results but
there's a level you can't step into without the anointing.
 Anointing experience is not having oil poured on you, that is called
ordination. True anointing is a Personal Encounter with the power of
Holy Spirit.
 My dear friends, we need this experience and need it urgently. With
all your getting get the anointing! This is the secret behind those who
became generational leaders, soaring far above generational huddles
and becoming champions of their generation. Think of Martin Luther,
John Wesley, A.W Tozer, TL Osborn, Archbishop Benson Idhahosa
and many more.

3. You Need The Culture Of Giving Out Of Faith

 Giving is one of the most abused dynamics of the kingdom. This is
because we're living in a Babylonian generation whose greatest mark is
materialism. Dear saints don't be partakers of this spirit.
 The abuse shouldn't in anyway make us discard this dynamic. It's one
of the most powerful weapons in the Christendom. Giving justified
Abel, made God have a lcovenant with Noah, justified the harlot who
came anointing Jesus and many more blessings.
 Abraham by the act of giving his begotten son licensed God to give
His begotten son on earth. He's the father of us all because his act of
giving paved a way for salvation.
 Money and material wealth have two factors at work: One, they're a
true representation of the heart. Two, they're controlled and owned
spiritually before they're manifested in the physical. Thus when you
give, out of faith not manipulation, you've laid your heart on the altar
to be blessed. Secondly when you give you've secured a spiritual
territory in the world of wealth. In other words you've owned and

57
controlled wealth from the Spiritual sphere and manifestation will be
seen in the physical.
 Great men of God were great givers. Think of Dr Oral Roberts. By his
giving, he owned controlled wealth which enabled him to build the
first Pentecostal university on earth.
 The apostle of faith George Mueller of Bristol, build all his
orphanages by faith through giving. One day he was visiting a pastor
friend, the Spirit commanded him to give all the money he had raised
for his orphanages he humbly obeyed. When he reached home a
believer wired to him more money than he had raised.
 Jesus Christ said; Luke 6:38 NIV
"Give, and it will be given to you. A good measure, pressed down,
shaken together and running over, will be poured into your lap. For
with the measure you use, it will be measured to you.”
 There's nothing bad with Prosperity gospel, what is bad is playing the
gospel to extreme without necessary balance. In this highly monetary
society we need money to reach territories and establish God's
government there providing spiritual and social support systems.
Other faiths are taking the world because they've both the spiritual
and monetary power.
4. You Need Prayer Coupled With Action. (Faith With Works)
 Praying is the most noble task given to men by God. By prayer we can
change heaven's plan for individuals, regions and nations. It's by
prayer we can move mountains. By prayer what we bind on earth is
bound in heaven. In other words if we bind something on earth by
prayer heaven has to bind it too. What a privilege to the believers.
 Strategic praying is the updated version of prayer in the 21st century.
This is not a prayer of petitioning to The Almighty God to do things
on earth. It's a prayer of passing decrees and declarations by the
authority vested on us. These decrees and declarations become law for
we are kings unto our God and the word of the king becomes law.

58
 With all these privileges, we fear to command the mountain, to
declare something on earth to have it signed in heaven into law. What
a generation of unbelieving believers.
 We watch things go wrong and stand helpless as though we've no
power to stop it. Believers, it's time we unleash the power within us
without fear. The LORD God admonished Joshua. " Have I not
commanded you, Fear not." The same admonition comes to us today.
 But did you know we can pray all our lives and accomplish very little
or nothing? If we pray and don't act, our prayers can be fruitless. It's
like one who sows the field and doesn't cultivate. If you are praying
for family members to get saved, rise up and act, share with them the
gospel of the kingdom. First by your lifestyle demonstrating the
unconditional love of Jesus Christ. If you pray and you're quarreling
with them how shall your prayer be actualized.
 Real prayer takes 50% and the rest of 50% is taken by our action.
Pray! Pray! and Act!Act!
5. You Need Worship In Truth And Spirit
 Praise and worship is one of the most powerful dynamics given to the
saints. It should be noted with all gravity that there are spiritual levels
which we can accomplish with nothing else but this.
 For a believer to attain deep spirituality and grow through the
spiritual dimensions, praise and worship are necessity. Congregations
which don't exercise true praise and worship there's a level of spiritual
experience they can never attain however gifted their pastor is.
 We were primarily created to worship, not to sing, pray and preach.
All these will come to an end but worship will continue for eternity.
There are blessings which can't be attained otherwise but by worship
alone.
 Worship is the creators garage (if I may use that word) where the
saints are restored back to normal shape and function. Without
worship the saint will run himself down and loose his c

African Gospel Approach

▪The Kingdom culture .

▪The Manifestation of the power of the gospel.
▪The prophetic dimension of the gospel.
▪The unconditional love of Christ.
▪The ministry of deliverance .

1. The Kingdom Culture

 Africa is a “Kingdom society.” Every ethnic group had a kingdom
order. Even today those who have migrated to foreign nations make
small kingdoms there.

62
 Africa needs strong leaders who come as humble kings for Christ Jesus,
carry power and authority of the kingdom yet humble. Lamb -lamb
apologetic leaders and those seeking to be theologically correct in the
perspective of the western gospel have no place in Africa.
 Africans are Kingdom people," contrary to the Westerns who will pick
everything you told them and practice it as long as they believe in it.
Africans need a Kingdom supervision.
 In the Western if you‟re learned, you‟ve real substance and not very
strong in leadership people can follow you. But in Africa leadership
"the King notion" comes first. Even if you‟ve no much substance and
you come with the balanced authority of Christ, multitudes will follow
you.
 This explains why Africans have a great love for big titles, even those in
foreign nations like the Afro-Americans. Names like Apostle,
Archbishop, Bishop, Prophet and the like reflect the African Kingdom
order hangovers.
2. Manifestation (Demonstration) Of The Kingdom Of God
 Rather than theological arguments Africans want demonstration of
the power of the gospel first. Without the demonstration of the power
of Gospel there can be no impact. This is because Africans have deep
roots in magic and they need to see something more powerful than
magic.
 Billy Graham was rated by America to be the greatest Evangelist of the
20th Century. He became a great evangelist without miracles. He
only preached the love of God through Jesus Christ. Millions were
converted to the gospel. Americans being "mind people" did not need
great manifestation of the gospel.
 The Greeks were "mind people, "a learned apostle called Paul was
commissioned to them. Jews were faith people, Peter the Apostle, who
didn‟t have great knowledge was sent to them
3. The Prophetic Dimension

63
 Africa has deep roots in this spirit of divination the satanic equivalent
of prophetic dimension in the Bible faith. Without this dimension
Africa is not complete. It supersedes divination and thus
overthrowing it‟s rule.
 This accounts to why charismatic witchcraft preachers have prevailed
more in Africa than any place we‟ve Africans. Without the prophetic
dimension of the gospel Africa is not complete. We‟re a product of
the spirit of divination which rules in Africa than any other place in
the world. The only power which counters this is the prophetic
dimension of the gospel.
 Africa is about to produce the most powerful prophetic preachers the
world has ever known. The prophetic movement has been born in
Africa in dimension no generation has ever seen. The spirit of Elijah
will be more evident in Africa than any other place in the world.
4. Africans Need To See The Unconditional Love Of Christ
 Our culture taught us survival, the weak were mercilessly killed to give
way to the strong. Killing the weak in African culture is a great honor.
That‟s why the legalistic gospel has attracted so many people. Grace
and mercy are strange words in Africa. This has impended the gospel.
 We need Gospel ministers with great power and authority in Christ
Jesus, yet carrying the gospel of unconditional love of Christ. This will
lead to a great spiritual transformation. Legalistic gospel has
impended spiritual growth in Africa. Even Nigeria which has liberated
herself from the western theology, has never broken the yoke of
legalism. I strongly believe a movement born from Kenya will break
this yoke and lead the church in Africa to a higher dimension of the
walk with God.
5.Africa Needs To See Balanced Ministry Of Deliverance
 It should be stated with all gravity that you can‟t have a successful
ministry in Africa without having a Balanced Ministry Of
Deliverance. Show me one minister in Africa who succeeded fully

64
(spiritually, Economically, socially and physically) without this
ministry.
 Those who teach that the teaching of deliverance is unbiblical are only
basing their argument on Western theology. Most of the western
preachers didn‟t have this revelation mainly because it wasn‟t a great
need there. But in Africa where spiritual ties are so deep you can‟t do
without it.
 The teaching of deliverance runs through the entire Bible in a very
vivid way. When apostle paul speaks of dealing with strongholds, he‟s
talking of deliverance. You may call them Altars or strongholds but
they remain the same things.
 Some diseases and infirmities, character tendencies find their roots in
the generational order, they must be dealt with. This is deliverance.
 The argument is; since we‟re in Christ Jesus the old things are passed
beyond everything is become new. Unfortunately every serious
believer will realize that though this is positionally true he must make
it practical by a fight of faith. This fight of faith is what we call
deliverance.
 When Israelites conquered the promised land under Joshua they
surveyed it and divided it according to the tribes of Israel. But
something must be noted, the inhabitants were flashed out at ago.
They were to claim their land by flashing out the enemies
progressively.
 The spiritual meaning in the New Testament is clear. Though
positional victory has been given to us by Christ Jesus. We‟re to flex
the muscles of our faith by fighting the strongholds and root them out.
 Everything was finished the moment we received Jesus Christ. That
was positionally sealed. But we were to make that practical by fierce
and violent exercise of faith in the already acquired victory in Christ.
Dealing with demonic entities and strongholds which are illegal in
our already purchased territory.
 You are redeemed from diseases and infirmities but demons using
generational order (covenants ) would want to keep you sick. Using

65
the word of faith you are supposed to cast out the demons and take
your healing by force. This flashing out of demons and claiming your
right in Christ is called Deliverance.

champion the gospel to our generation according to the prophetic
word?

68
 What is „legalistic gospel?” Give some of its characteristics

Conclusion
Prophetic Word For Africa
 " Beyond Time To Heal Africa Has Fully Come. I Heal Her:-
1.I heal her spiritually; delivering her from her witchcraft and the
madness of religion. Beyond I break generational altars which were
never broken for ages. I drive back the charismatic witchcraft tide over

69
her. I rise a powerful balanced glorious church that is able to lead the
nations spiritually.
2.I heal her diseases and infirmities. Due to her inclination to
witchcraft and idolatry I plagued her with diseases and infirmities. Her
enemies manufactured chemical weapons in laboratory and tested it on
her. They used the same to depopulate her. But a time to heal her has
come. There shall be great supernatural healing the world has never
seen before. Medical discoveries and inventions by her sons and
daughters will take place and I will heal Africa medically.
3.I heal her financially. Poverty has held back the potential of this great
continent. But now I heal her. Great financial inventions and
innovations will happen to her. Great entrepreneurs will emerge in
Africa to compete with the world's class entrepreneurs. She will break the
economic yoke of the West and emerge as world business giant.
4.I give her leadership to lead this generation in great power and
authority.
 First Spiritual Leadership. Great wise and powerful leaders emerge in
the church now. Greater than Billy Graham, TL Osborn, Kenneth
Hagin, Oral Roberts, Benny Hinn, Charles Stanley and others. Africa
will be first in spiritual leadership among the nations.
 Corporate Leadership. Great leaders in the pubic leadership will arise
in her. Africa will recreate herself and unleash her potential for
leadership. The world will be amazed. Poor governance will vanish in
cutting edge leadership. Leaders with gravitas will transform Africa
leaders topography of leadership."
