RE: APPLICATION FOR AN INUSTRIAL ATTACHMENT

I write this letter to apply for an industrial attachment at your firm during the months of June,
July and August.

I am a girl aged nineteen, currently finished my first year studies of an honours degree in
electrical engineering at the University of Zimbabwe. I am eager to learn more about
engineering through a practical setting , rather than just reading from books as I believe
engineering is about solving problems in order to improve people’s lives .My objective is to
fully utilise the acquired skills so as to enhance the my career path through working experience.
I seek to be more useful to myself and others during this vacation.

Since I have only covered first year courses, with limited engineering knowledge, I would be
very happy if I could fit in any position where I would be most useful to your firm.
