This study evaluated the harmful effects of pesticide use in agriculture on both crops and human health. Pesticides are toxic not only to pests but also to farmers and consumers. While pesticides are important for controlling pests, overuse can damage crops and pose health risks. The study collected data through questionnaires with fruit/vegetable vendors and gardeners to understand their pesticide use and any effects observed. Ethical practices like voluntary participation and anonymity were followed. The research aimed to interview individuals working in gardens about their pesticide use and any health issues experienced.

This study scrutinized pesticides and its harmful impacts to
agriculture. The main goal of this study is to evaluate the effects of pesticide use to agriculture. According to health organizations, pesticides can also be toxic to the people and the farmer’s health. Their mode of action is by targeting systems of enzymes in the pests which may be identical or very similar to enzymes in human beings and therefore, they pose risks not only to agriculture but to health as well (World Health Organization, 2008). Pesticides are essential tools in pest control. However, the effects of these compounds in agriculture can’t be ignored.
If the farmers feel annoyed because of pests destroying their
crops, they tend to use these toxic substances to kill them. What they don’t know is that it can ruin their crops more.
Data Analysis
• Primary data was collected through 2 sets of questionnaires
(for 2 types of people which are the vegetable/fruit vendor and the gardener) being asked to the correspondents to answer. It was recorded in a phone and the researcher will ask the question which the correspondent needs to answer. It was conducted during the time (February 10). The researchers visited parks for the gardeners, and the market and malls for the those who sells vegetables/fruits with the authors of the research papers formed part of primary data collection methodology. Secondary data was collected through research on the internet and some articles online, on news papers, on magazines and such Instrumentation
Data Collection Techniques
• The interview took place at Rainforest Park and at a public
market. The researchers interviewed gardeners, fruit/vegetable vendors. The researchers conducted and voice recorded in a quiet and peaceful place where there were no signs of disruption.
Ethical Considerations
• The researchers invites the participant to participate in this
study (Harmful effects of pesticides). The participation in this research project is completely voluntary. The participant may decline or leave blank in any questions they don’t wish to answer. As a sign of respecting their privacy, we didn’t reveal the identity of the participants. Research Design/Method
• The researchers decided to make an interview with a certain
individual who works in a garden and asked simple various questions. First step we took was prepare questions to ask the human agent. Second, we made a letter of consent and ask a permission if we can have the access for interview. And lastly, we recorded and listed their answers pertaining to our topic which is about using pesticides on plants and its harmful effects in their health.
