EXECUTIVE SUMMARY

Bangladesh has a great opportunity to utilize the solar energy because it receives 4-5 hours per
day of solar energy with about 300 days of annual sunshine. Till now solar energy is only used
in the household, small business and some other uses such as irrigation and fish drying because
of the lack of commercial usages. If the solar energy is used in commercially in Bangladesh then
it could be a revolution in the next future.

Due to the lagging of fuel, electric vehicle is one of the most popular vehicles in Bangladesh.
There are a lot of electric vehicle like three wheeler rickshaw, easy bike, charging motor bike
etc. are increasing day by day. Not only electric vehicle but also batteries are used in different
way, some are IPS and some are used in machineries. In present system all batteries are charged
by electricity. Most of the user charged the batteries through illegal lines which increase the load
shedding. So that government tries to stop the electric auto rickshaws. In resultant, increase
unemployment.

prepared for Mr. A H M Yeaseen Chowdhury, Associate Professor of Faculty of Business
Studies at Bangladesh University of Professionals for the course of Business Communication.

1.2 HISTORICAL BACKGROUND:

During the past decades process orientation has been an increasing trend in business
improvement. Business Process Management (BPM) is a popular way of increasing process
orientation in organizations, often with process automation and some kind of IT-system,
Business Process Management System (BPMS).

The boost of process orientation and BPM has spread to organizations operating in various
industries. Process automation is attractive to organizations since it can save time, money and
increase quality. The IT-consultancy industry has experienced an increased demand for
information about, and services within BPM. The automation has greatly used in the industry
level. And its extensive use in the small and medium business is increasing day by day.

collect the information from the following resource:

I. Different Reports

II. Research Publications

III. International Books

IV. Websites
CHAPTER 2:

2.1 CORE IDEA

The basic flow chart of universal battery charging solar station is given below.

Solar Energy Solar Cell Control Panel Battery Electric Vehicle

The core idea of the solar charging station is that the charging station owner will have some set of
batteries and those are charged by the system which will be supplied by a rental basis. That means the
user takes the charged battery for his vehicle and gives the uncharged battery to the station by paying only
amount of charging as a rent.

The main propensity of this station to charge the batteries by the use of natural power, reduction of illegal
lines, serves in the time of national grid fault & load shedding as well as charged the batteries with a very
small amount of money. It is also save the time of charging of the electric vehicle owner.

2.2 PROBLEM IDENTIFICATION

There are some problems identified in the time of taking interviews of owner of electric vehicle
and owners of three wheeler rickshaws. The problems are:

1. Most of batteries of three wheeler rickshaws are old enough. The owner of charging
station supply new batteries by taking the old one only getting the payment for charging
as a rent. Here is a problem is that, if the rickshaw puller does not come back to the
station anymore it could be a loss for charging station owner.
2. Initial investment is moderate.

2.3 MISSION
To serve the people, improve the social condition as well as economic growth of the country.
2.4 VISION
To be the most admired and trusted organization through excelling in everything we do and
following ethical business practices.

2.5 OBJECTIVES
 To reduce the pressure on national grid.
 To charging the batteries in a green way.
 Faster customer satisfaction.
 To reduce the load shedding.
 To make popular the renewable energy.
 To increase the customer mobility.
CHAPTER 3:

3.1 DESIGN & DEVELPOMENT PLAN

A new entrepreneur may designed and developed a solar battery charging station for charging
station for charging the batteries of auto rickshaws, which would be completely independent of
the national grid. The solar charging station not only takes a significant role for city and rural
people but opens a way to help boosting up the socio economic condition of Bangladesh.

PV CHARGE BATTERY
ARRAY CONTROLER

Charge controller may be fat chargers; it is higher power units, designed to charge in less than 4
hours. These chargers require active charge termination and often have advanced features such
as battery test, bad battery recovery and automatic maintenance. There are several ways to
charge batteries from DC power source. Solar panels require a special type of charging called a
solar charge controller. In this system charge controller needed 4 nos. These are able to take
whatever power is available from the solar panels, condition that power and transfer it to the
battery. These chargers are specially designed to deal with the uncertainty of the available input
power.
3.2 TARGET MARKET ANALYSIS
Demographics  Most of the users are the owner of Electric motor bike and driver of easy
bike and auto rickshaws.
 Now a days a large number of users in this sector all over the country.

needed.
 Customer uses our station for recharging their vehicle’s battery because it is
environment friendly, low cost, no need charging time, reduces the hazard of
the users etc.
 The users will not care about the brand because there are no alternatives of
ours.

Our proposed social business plan is that the batteries are charged by the solar energy in a
commercial way that’s called universal solar battery charging station

Whatever the future of Solar energy holds, it’s become integral to business progress and if a
company doesn’t embrace the trends, its competitors soon will.

FINDINGS
1. There is lack of solar station. So we have to create more location for solar station.

2. General people do not have enough idea about renewable energy. So we have to organize
more trainings & seminars for them.

3. Electricity does not meet with the demand capacity. So we have to more concentrate on solar
capacity to meet with demand at minimum level.

4. To keep the environment with pollution free, we have to increase the use of solar energy.
RECOMMENDATION
Here are some recommendations that must be followed before integrating an existing business
process system to solar energy.

1. Before integrating solar system in the business process, a business culture should be created
that embraces solar system is must.
2. Everyone should have some knowledge of renewable energy to operate solar system.
3. During the implementation of solar tools we should find out the easy process first to execute
it.
4. Consulting with a reliable partner before integrating the business process to solar system.
