Fantasies- It’s not Greys Anatomy, You don’t save someone’s life every day, Its
not always happy. Sometimes people are in really bad shape and it takes a toll on your
life at home sometimes
Realities- The doctors aren’t always nice and it gets very stressful sometimes.
There’s a lot of dirty work.
2. What is your current educational level? What continuing education and training

“I feel very secure in nursing in general. The field definitely demands a
little more pay than actual work so I am fearful of them going into debt but as
for me I am secure in a job in nursing.” She feels that they need more workers
for her field of work because there is always too many patients and sometimes
the patients feel that they aren’t being taken time on because of the constant
rush.
They make an hourly rate of 32-38$. Full time at the hospital was $65-70 a year with
benefits.
I will use the salary part of what she gave me because its interesting how
much the pay changed from a doctor’s office to the hospital.
Also, I’m going to use the important traits of a nurse because people
need to know that
I’m going to explain what a GI is
I’m going to add what types of pain management they use
