Examination Guidelines

About the Exam

1. The Wealth Management Certification exam will test both your knowledge and your ability to apply
the concepts.
2. The duration of the exam is 120 minutes i.e. 2 hours.
3. There will be around 40 – 50 questions in the certification.
4. The passing score is 60% (this is the net score arrived after deducting negative marking).
5. If you score 75% or above you will get a Badge of Excellence. This denotes that you have excelled in
this examination.
6. The exam is computer based and comprises the following types of questions:
 Multiple Choice Questions with Single Answer
 Multiple Choice Questions with Multiple Answer (marks will be awarded only if all the
correct options are selected, otherwise it will be considered incorrect.)
 Match the following
7. Questions will be either of 1 mark, 2 marks or 5 marks (this will be displayed beside the question).
8. There are negative marks for wrong answers, so please don’t gamble!
Take the diagnostic test before you attempt the final certification exam.

On the day of the Exam

1. You are requested to report to the center at least 30 minutes prior to the exam start time.
2. You need to carry:
 Hall Ticket with your photo affixed
 Photo ID proof- The ID proof MUST be valid as on date of examination
 Backup Answer sheet
 Formulae sheet provided by FLIP- Do NOT scribble anything on the formulae sheet
3. Cell Phones and other electronic items are strictly NOT to be used during the exam. You will however
be permitted to use your calculators.
4. You will be given access to Excel.
