Implementing Rules and Regulations

General Information

Objectives

1. To realize synergy and emphasize the importance of teamwork and collective performance as
compared to independent performance.

2. To provide a mechanism on which each group may compete in unique, competitive and intellectual
manner.

RULES AND MECHANICS:

1. Each section must send a group with 3 members. Sections which fail to send participants shall pay
P1500 penalty.

2. Participants are advised to be at the designated area of the compeptition 30 minutes before the time
schedule. Late contestants shall no longer be allowed to join the competition.

3. The quiz master will read the questions, which are answerable by "fact" or "bluff", twice. No any other
answers shall be accepted.

4. Each group shall assign a group leader. Only the group leader shall write the answer.

5. No leader shall write their answers before the quiz master says, "is it a fact or a bluff". Otherwise,
their answers shall be deemed invalid.

6. After each question, the participants will be given 5 seconds (easy), 8 seconds (average), and 10
seconds (difficult) to answer. No participant shall raise their answers unless time is up or it will invalidate
their answer.

7. Easy: 1pt.
Average: 3pts.

Difficult: 5pts.

8. The participant with the highest accumulated scores shall be declared as winner. In case of a tie, the
participant who will answer the tie-breaker question shall be the winner.
