Putting the battery in the BT remote control

Put the battery in the remote control as follows: open the background of the remote control
and put the battery with the type CR2032 in the appropriate direction. See pictures.

Bluetooth Connection
(1) Turn on the power switch and the blue LED is blinking regularly showing that is finding
to pair.
(2) Turn on the Bluetooth of your Smartphone. Choose the Bluetooth name of the Selfie
remote control and connect it. Scan in your Bluetooth compatible device under Bluetooth
settings and you find the Bluetooth hand monopod with the name “BT-X20”. Select it and
connect it with your Bluetooth compatible device. While the connection is established, the
blue LED is flashing quickly. If the connection is established, LED will turn off! When no
connection was established within 40 seconds, you must restart the Bluetooth connection
again. NO (!) password is needed to complete
the pairing!
Usage instructions
Fix the camera holder at the selfie stick properly. You have two options of fixing the holder
(see pictures). Pull up the clamp upwards and fix your Smartphone correctly into it. Ensure
that all is correctly and firmly fixed. Only now you can bend the head of the selfie stick and
lock it in the desired position with the direction adjuster.

First start the camera APP of your Smartphone,

then power ON the remote control (see picture).

With the switch
button you can
switch to the front or
the rear camera of
your Smartphone.

Power ON / OFF

Shutter button

Open the camera APP. Press the Shutter button to take

a picture.

ATTENTION: If the remote control is not longer in use then turn off the power switch of the
remote control. Once the Smartphone is connected to the remote control, the remote
control will connect automatically to the Smartphone by next booting. When you want to
connect to another Smartphone, you must first CLOSE the Bluetooth function of the further
Smartphone.
To use the full function of the shutter you must download and install the APP. Otherwise
you only can use the remote controm for the camera functions.

For iOS devices: search in the Apple ®
store the name “BT Shutter” or scan
these QR code above. To install the APP,
follow the instructions on your
Smartphone.
After starting the APP on your
Smartphone you see the 3 symbols at
the bottom. The symbol at the left is the
actual picture, at the middle to take a
picture directly without remote control,
at the right to take a video. Take the
functions of all other symbols above
from the manual of your Smartphone.
For Android devices: search in the Play
store the name “BT Shutter” or scan
simply the QR code above. To install the
APP, follow the instructions on your
Smartphone.
After starting the APP on your
Smartphone you see the 3 symbols at
the bottom. The symbol at the left is
to take a picture directly without
remote control, at the middle to switch
between photo and video, at the right
the actual picture. Take the functions
of all other symbols above from the
manual of your Smartphone.

Warnings
 Do not attempt to disassemble the device, it may result in short-circuit or even damage.
 Do not drop or shake the device, it may break internal circuit boards or mechanics.
 Keep the device in dry and ventilated environment. Avoid high humidity and high
temperature. Also batteries should not be exposed to excessive heat or direct sunlight.
 Keep the surface of the device clean, but do not use organic solvents.
 Keep the device away from little children.

Hints for Environment Protection: Packages materials are raw materials

and can be recycled. Do not disposal old devices or batteries into the
domestic waste. Cleaning: Protect the device from contamination and
pollution (use a clean drapery). Avoid using rough/coarse-grained
materials or solvents/aggressive cleaner. Wipe the cleaned device
accurately. Important Notice: Should battery fluid leak from a battery,
