This document does not replace the IOM of the MYPRO TOUCH+.
Carefully read and understand the IOM prior to using this document.
NOTE: Base panel is built and distributed by Mayekawa USA.

SECTION 1: INTRODUCTION

1. Introduction
Verify the proper MYPRO TOUCH+ factory-option is specified. The MYPRO TOUCH+ is available in
the following factory-option variations:
MTP- 0 - 1- 1-120

CONTROL PANEL MTP for MYPRO TOUCH+


DO CARDS 0 to 3 Expansion Cards

ANALOG IN 0 to 2 Boards

ANALOG OUT 0 to 1 Board

VOLTAGE 120=120VAC, 220=220VAC


ENCLOSURE TYPE SS = Stainless Steel
ENVIRONMENT W = Window Kit Only, Z = Z Purge & Window

SECTION 2: CHECK POWER

2. Connect Power to the MYPRO TOUCH+


Connect power to the MYPRO TOUCH+ control panel as shown in the Figure 1. Fully read warnings and follow

all safety instructions included in this manual and other safeguards by regulatory authorities.

X1 – 120 VAC
L1 – 220 VAC

Neutral
X2 – 120 VAC
L2 – 220VAC

Ground (GND)

CAUTION

SHORT CIRCUIT, FIRE, UNPLANNED DEVICE OPERATION.

- DO NOT CONNECT WITH LIVE WIRES.

- DO NOT USE EXCESSIVE FORCE TO POWER WIRING, TO AVOID ACCIDENTAL DISCONNECTION.

- POWER SUPPLY TERMINAL BLOCK SHOULD BE TIGHTENED BY PROPER TORQUE OF 1.4 Nm.

- USE DEDICATED GROUND, DO NOT USE COMMON GROUND.

FAILURE TO FOLLOW THESE INSTRUCTIONS MAY RESULT IN DEATH, SERIOUS INJURY OR PROPERTY DAMAGE.

SECTION 3: PANEL CONFIGURATION

3. Configuring MYPRO TOUCH+


Level-2 or higher credentials are required to modify settings.

Touch user field to login.

Lock Icons indicate items that

are not accessible prior to

security login.

Button displays Menu screen.

Select the User name from the pull-down menu on the


Log In screen. Select default Level-2 name, XYZ.

Touch the Password field. The default password for


XYZ is 2222.

Touch [Sign In] button. The display will return to the


home screen when credentials are verified.

SECTION 3: PANEL CONFIGURATION

Control option selections.


Touch the [CONFIG] icon from MENU 2.

When prompted, select YES to continue to the


SYSTEM CONFIGURATION mode.

CAUTION

DO NOT PERFORM THIS OPERATION WHILE THE COMPRESSOR IS RUNNING.

THIS MAY CAUSE SEVERE ADVERSE EFFECT TO THE OPERATION OF THE UNIT.

Select SYSTEM DETAIL from the


SYSTEM CONFIGURATION menu.

Select required options for the compressor


package verifying all of the SYSTEM
CONFIGURATION pages.

Press the gear icon in the upper right when


selections are complete to exit SYSTEM
CONFIGURATION.

Verify Analog Inputs


Confirm analog inputs by using the schematics supplied with the panel. Verify ranges and readings.
Touch the [AI ADJUST] icon from MENU 2. Confirm and adjust sensor readings as needed.

SECTION 4: DIO TEST MODE

4. DIO Test Operation, Motor Bump & Slide Valve Calibration


Verify alarm settings by selecting the [LIMITS] icon from the MENU.

There are a total of 5 main LIMITS


alarm pages (P1~P5). P6~P7 contain
optional input alarm settings. P8~P9
consist of the mask delay timers under
range and over range timers.

DIO Test Operation

Select the [DIO TEST ICON] from MENU 2.

Press the slider switch to enable the DIO


TEST MODE.

Touch T (TEMPORARILY) or P
(PERMANENT) to test the output
channels.

SECTION 4: DIO TEST – MOTOR BUMP


Motor Bump Test

CAUTION

DO NOT PERFORM THIS OPERATION IF THE COMPRESSOR AND MOTOR ARE DIRECTLY COUPLED. IF MOTOR

PHASES ARE INCORRECT AND THE COMPRESSOR TURNS IN THE WRONG DIRECTION, SEVERE DAMAGE MAY OCCUR

TO THE EQUIPMENT AND/OR CAUSE SERIOUS HARM OR DEATH TO THE PERSONNEL WORKING AROUND THE UNIT.

Disconnect the MSRB signal from the starter to CH12 of the digital input channels by pulling
the green terminals from the Phoenix connector.

Touch and release the OILP [T]


temporary button to verify that the oil
pump is rotating the correct direction.

Touch [P] permanent button for the OIL


PUMP.

Touch and release [T] temporary button


for the COMP to check its rotation and
perform the bump test.

After bump test, turn off all outputs, DISABLE the DIO test mode and exit the screen by selecting
the HOME icon. Reconnect the MSRB terminals.

SECTION 4: SLIDE VALVE CALIBRATION

Slide Valve Calibration

Touch the [SLIDE VALVE CALIBRATION] icon from MENU2.


Touch Mode button at the top right to enable the slide valve calibration mode.

Touch the [START CALIBRATOR] button to initiate the slide valve calibrator.

Press the [START] button when

SECTION 5: SET TIME AND DATE

5. Set Time and Date

Touch the time area displayed on the screen.

Use the setup window to adjust the


time and press [SET] to accept.

SECTION 6: USER & PASSWORD ASSIGN

6. User and Password Assignment

Select [TERMINAL SETTINGS]


from Menu 2.

From the terminal management screen,


press the [ADD USERS] button to
create users and credentials.

Create user name, password and select the user group Level-(1 or 2) to add new user.

Press the [Add] button to confirm and finish the addition.

SECTION 7: BACK UP SETTINGS

7. Back Up Settings & Setpoints


NOTE: USB THUMB DRIVE IS NEEDED FOR THIS OPERATION.

Touch the [CONFIG] icon from MENU 2. When prompted, select YES to continue to the SYSTEM
CONFIGURATION mode. Touch the CONFIG & SETTINGS IMPORT/EXPORT button.

Select the group of data for backup from the


pulldown menu of SETTINGS IMPORT AND
EXPORT screen.

Option/Setpoint Group
SystemDetails: Configuration and options.
AlarmLimits: Alarm and failure limits.
Control_Cut_In_Setpoints: Capacity control
and other setpoints.

Touch the [UPLOAD] button to create backup files of the selections.

After prompted Upload Completed, touch the [DUMP MEMORY TO USB] button to save the data to
the USB thumb drive.

Repeat steps for other settings required for backup.

Touch [Eject USB] button to remove the USB memory from the panel.

SECTION 8: SET OPERATION MODE

8. Operation Mode
Select the [CONTROLS] icon from the MENU.

A pop-up window will appear. Confirm


that the DI/O TEST OPERATION is set
to NO and desired OPERATION and
AUTO START/STOP settings are
properly selected.

Set Cut In and Cut Out Setpoints


Adjust the CUT IN and CUT OUT setpoints for the AUTO START/STOP
operation by touching the {SETPOINTS] icon from the Menu.

Adjust settings as needed.

Four setpoints can be programed. Each setpoint is activated by touching the setpoint title. The
active setpoint is designated with orange text.
