 1.Definition and purpose of TEMS
Discovery
 Definition: TEMS Discovery is a measurement data analysis
and network optimization tool.
 Technical support: GSM/WCDMA/LTE.
 Usually use in Viettel for analysis in optimization and
benchmarking.
 Main purpose:
 Analysis the coverage, quality of signal.
 Analysis the events: Call drop, block call, overlap, missing
neighbor, handover fail.
 Analysis the swap feeder.
 Analysis the data throughput.
 Export KPI and report

test data in logical group: Dataset
 Archived  Composite.
+ In composite included logfiles
which were loaded after filtering
by logfile name, technology or
device.

parameter in the composite, such
as call drop, blockcall… or Rxlev,
RSCP…

choose new project

your new project.

files and point to the folder of logfile.
+ Target project: Choose your project
which has just created.
+ Target dataset: Naming for your
logfile folder.
+ Then click to import.
*other information is default

Create Composite

+ In dataset  click right mouse in Composite

(integrated) at Archives  Create/edit static
composite dataset.
*Function of composite is to process the data of a
project, can be grouped logfiles by their attributed
such as Device, labels (logcall, shortcall, Idle…) then
export or view in the map, table…

drop into Members of group  Then save

Step: In dataset, sort the type of logfile in
composite  right click and choose Send to
Map view.
