Dear Madam / Sir,

I am writing to express my interest in applying for the Bachelor's Degree Program in Computer Science at the
Faculty of Electrical, Electronics, Computer and Control Engineering at Lodz University of Technology.

First of all, I would like to present some background about myself; My name is Haydar Kardesler. I have been
studying English in Lodz for about 8 months. I successfully completed 2 years of my associate degree in
Computer Programming in Turkey. I have taken many IT classes at college. However, before I started college,
I had been developing software as well. I started to develop software professionally with the software
Specialization Course Training Program which I took in 2012. I know more than 7 software languages. In the
first years, I developed software for the desktop and the web. I have been developing native mobile applications
for Android and iOS since 2014.

I worked as an Android Developer, iOS Developer, Senior Mobile Application Developer, Research and
Development Employee at many different companies, for example, one of Turkey’s best healthcare software
companies called Fonet Bilgi Teknolojileri Inc. and an advertising company called Yon Medya Ltd. I have also
been a Co-Founder and Mobile Application Developer for a company called İstanbul Bildirim in 2015-2016,
which developed news applications. I have developed mobile applications in many different areas (Health,
Communication, In-House Management, News, Remote Control of Automation Systems) so far. Within that
period, I have had the opportunity to gain experience in this field by working with senior executives and
computer engineers. I have been working on project basis as freelance lately.

The boundless possibility of trying out is what I find most appealing about Computer Science. Keeping up an
inquisitive and explorative attitude, I believe, leads to a constant learning process. This approach adds to the
already immense potential for innovation that exists in this field. I am quite fond of researching and learning
about new technologies. I keep improving myself every day. I enjoy develop a software or technology by using
my knowledge and skills. At no point in my life did I consider working on an area other than IT. I set all my
plans and career goals on this field. Being one of the architects of the technologies that will shape the future of
mankind and our world is my biggest dream and goal. I think this program will make an important contribution
to the career goals that I planned for the future.

I plan to focus on especially Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Deep Learning, Big Data and Image
Processing technologies that have great importance for the future. After researching the work on artificial
intelligence and image processing at the Lodz University of Technology and after realizing that these classes
are in the syllabus, I decided that starting my undergraduate education at the Lodz University of Technology
was the best option for me.

My medium-term goal is to completed the Bachelor's degree in Computer Science and then to completed the
Master's Degree in Management at Lodz University of Technology. My long-term goal is to develop useful
products and technologies for humanity by carrying out research and development studies in the IT.
I would very much like to study at the University Lodz of Technology. This would give me a chance to deepen
my software development knowledge in the inspiring, creative, and cosmopolite environment of one of the
largest Polish universities. I feel the help and guidance that can be provided to me by the distinguished faculty
of your university will be invaluable. Furthermore, I am confident if I am given the opportunity to study at your
university that attracts some of the best students from all over the world, it will provide an environment
competitive enough to bring out the best in me. I am applying to the Bachelor's Degree Program in Computer
Science at the Faculty of Electrical, Electronics, Computer and Control Engineering at Lodz University of
Technology consciously with a high motivation. If I can get this academic opportunity, I believe I can contribute
to the research and development activities in the IT sector.
