But:
Improvement was achieved, when Thyssen Edelstahlwerke
(electrode division) developped mixed gases (Arg+He+low
CO2 content) in the mid ´80ies. In combination with the
pulse technique spatterfree welds have been made
possible. Properties close to the TIG process are achieved!
