Nice work! The Encyclopedia Britanica says the Dacian population was devasted, with survivors
driven northward. That they were occupied, divided into 3 "territories" but the Romans soon lef
because troops were needed south of the Danube. Nowhere does it say they died out. I'm sure
many mixed with the Romans, but that's naturally something that I can not proove. Just
speculate because that's what happens to devastated populations. I'm half Native American
(only 33 people of my tribe survived the Trail of Tears), half German...Bavarian to be more
precise. (however Germans aren't actually "Germans", they were a mix of everyone as educated
people know) I like to think I'm living Proof of assimilation tho lol
