2. EVERYDAY ( EXCEPT SUNDAY )— MEETING IN ECR WITH ALL ENGINEERS 2E,3E,4E, EL OFF. TO-
PLAN NEXT DAYS WORK AND PREPARE AND SIGN TYPED WORK ORDER ( WORK PLAN ) AND
DESIGNATE SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITY BY NAME.
3. ALLENGINE DEPARTMENT DEFECTS TO BE INFORMED TO CE IMMEDIATELY ~ PLEASE NEVER
HESITATE TO CALL CE ANYTIME
4. DO NOT COMMENCE ANY UNPLANNED WORK WITHOUT INFORMING CE.
5. LOG BOOK TO BE SIGNED BY 2 BEFORE IT IS SENT TO CE. ALSO ENSURE THAT ALL ENGINEER SIGNS
THE LOG BOOK IN THE DESIGNATED PLACES.
6. NIGHT ROUNDS AS PER CHECKLIST TO BE TAKEN BY DUTY ENGINEER. DUTY ENGINEER TO FILL UP
AND SIGN LOG BOOK EVERY DAY. USE COMPANY CHECK LIST IE. ENCLOSE SPACE/HOT
WORK/SIA/WORKING ALOFT ETC.
7. DO NOT ARGUE WITH CE ON NON ~ TECHNICAL AND NON PROFESSION RELATED MATTERS. OPEN
ALWAYS TO PROFESSIONAL AND TECHNICAL DISCUSSIONS ( ADEQUATELY SUPPORTED BY MANUAL,
DRAWINGS ETC.)
8. KEEP ENGINE ROOM CLEAN ALWAYS BE ON THE LOOKOUT FOR FIRE HAZARDS ETC.ER GARBAGE TO
BE DISPOSED OFF AS PER GARBGE PLAN. DO NOT LET GARBAGE PILE UP IN ENGINE ROOM. ALL LOOSE
GEAR TO BE SECURED ALWAYS..DRUMS, LARGE SPARES ETC. MONITOR MARPOL TANKS. 00
REGULAR EVAPORATION ETC. CONSULT CE BEFORE 15 PPM OPERATIONS.
9. PLEASE PLAN FOR CORRECTIVE ACTION BEFORE THE DEFECT GETS AGGRAVATED. DISCUSS WITH CE.
10. PLEASE ENSURE SAFETY AT ALL TIMES- SAFE PRACTICES. ISOLATE PROPERLY ANY EQUIPMENT
BEFORE REPAIR. ENSURE AVAILABILITY OF HAND GLOVES, EYE GOGGLES, AND HARD HATS ETC.
11. ENGINE ROOM COSMETICS TO BE KEPT UP AT ALL TIMES..NO RAGS TO BE KEPT UNDER
MACHINERY, NO JUNK TO BE HIDDEN UNDER TANK SPACES ETC. ENGINE ROOM FLOORS AND
BULKHEADS TO REMAIN ALWAYS OIL FREE AND FREE FROM RUST STAINS.
