Fast growing Chicago optical chain started in the Pilsen neighborhood and is now investing big in
Chicago's Lakeview neighborhood.

After 1 year of successful optical sales in the Pilsen and Andersonville neighborhoods, Big City Optical is
ready to open 3 new locations. The new Big City Optical locations are in the Lakeview Neighborhood
and will bolster their current distribution to 5. Big City Opticals new locations continue to build on their
unique client value proposition of offering simple primary eye care with a tightly curated offering of
current frame trends that make clients feel great in their glasses. Rasa Tamulavichus is Big City Opticals'
president and has been practicing optometry for 15 years. Rasa along with her partner, former banker
Michael Kogelis, have a goal of successfully opening 20 locations by 2020 one neighborhood at a time.
