Aleph-Bet “Chet” x
• “Chet” x represents the letter “ch” and is a guttural
sound as in “Bach”.
• Chet means “Life” and is the first letter of the word
“chai” yx (life).
• The letter Chet x was formed when the “Doorway” or
“Doorframe” was painted with the Blood of the Lamb
when Israel left Egypt. This allowed “Death to pass
over” and those behind the “blood” would receive Life.
• Chet is the “Doorway” that leads from one place
(death) to another place (life)
Aleph-Bet “Chet” x
• In Early Hebrew, “Chet” means Tent Wall, divide (half), fence and partition (chayitz –
/yx).
• “Chet” also means "outside," where the wall protects the occupants from the elements.
• “Chet” means “half,” as the wall in the middle of the tent divides the tent into the male
and female sections.
➢ The “Tent” is the area of safety, but you need to ENTER in order to be protected, which
has a “doorway”.
➢ “Tent” is the word “Sukkah” which relates to the Last Festival, namely “Sukkot” or
Tabernacles, where you will enter into the Kingdom and Live with YHVH forever.
Aleph-Bet “Chet” x
• “Chayitz” /yx(partiotion / fence) is derived from
“chutz” /vx, meaning “outside,” which gives the
word “chitzon” ]voyx meaning “external.”
• “Chatzah” hox is its root word, which means "to
divide."
• This makes /vx “chutz” and hox “chatzah” closely related: a fence
(chayitz) divides (chotze) and leaves something outside (chutz).
• From this root, “chatzah” hox, we get such words as “chetzi” yox–
(half) and “chatzot” tvoyx (midnight).
➢ From all these meanings we see the idea of the “Inside” and the
“Outside” in relation to a “Tent” or “Sukkah” as well as dividing light
from darkness (midnight) – Chet protects and divides.
Aleph-Bet “Chet” x
➢ From all these meanings we see there is the concept of division
(“chatzah” hox ) between the “outside” (“chutz” ), where it is
dark (“chatzot” or midnight), and the “inside” where there is
light (“hey” h) and Life (“chai”), entering thorough the
Doorway (“chet” x) covered by the Blood of the Lamb.
➢ This concept of “division” and “separation” is found in the
parables of the 10 Virgins [Matt 25:1-13], as well as the 10
Talents [Matt 25:14-30]
➢ Separation between those who are “spiritually dead” and those who are
“spiritually revived.” Separation between those who are lukewarm or passive,
and those who are actively passionately working in the Kingdom.
➢ The only way to be “spiritually revived” is to enter through the “Doorway covered
with Blood” and into the House of YHVH (Tent – “Sukkah”) so that they can be
refined and changed into His Likeness.
Number 8 & “Chet” x
Chet - 8th letter of Aleph-Bet
8 means “New Beginnings” and “new birth” and has to do
with the world after Creation, namely the Supernatural
Dimension, the Eternal and Infinite (Covenant).
➢ Number 7 symbolizes the complete purpose of human existence,
merging the spiritual level of the Sabbath with the physical 7 day
week.
➢ Going beyond 7, the number 8 symbolizes man’s ability to transcend
the limitations of physical existence, of which the number 7 is key.
➢ Thus, the number 8, stands for that which is on a plane above nature,
i.e., the metaphysical Divine, connecting to YHVH.
Number 8 & “Chet” x
Chet is connected to the Tabernacle through the number 8.
