Description of the status operations
Operation Description
Block/Unblock You can block/unblock a unit/subunit.
After you block a unit/subunit, the system does not accept
new services, and the service in operation is released
unexpectedly. Even the unit/subunit is rebooted, services are
not accepted.
New services can access the unit/subunit only after the
resource is unblocked and rebooted.
Spy/De-spy You can receive the resource change information through the
spy function.
De-spy is the reverse operation of spy. It stops feeding back
the resource change information to you.
After the spy command is executed, you receive the resource
change information once the spied resource changes until the
de-spy command is executed.
Status Refresh When you perform the resource status refresh operation, the
latest status of the resource is displayed.

Description of the status operations
Operation Description
Prohibit/Unprohibit If the current resource is prohibited, it is still in the activation
status. The prohibited resource can only support some of the
system information, and the regular user services are not
supported.
You cannot prohibit all resources. There must be available
resources in the system.
After you execute the unprohibit command on the current
resource, the resource becomes available again and supports
user services.
Reset When you execute the reset command, the resources
corresponding to the Iu interfaces, Iub interfaces, and cells are
all released. Therefore, the current calls are released and the
new calls are not accepted. If the resource is reset, the related
resources are available again and new calls are accepted.
After the reset, the status of related modules, units and
subunits does not change (for example, blocking status of a
board).
