2.1 Setting the language
 Set the display language to your language.

2.2 Setting the date and time
 Set the system date and system time to the current time.

2.3 Setting the location altitude
 Your system includes oxygen sensors but does not have an

integrated air pressure measurement (System 2020 XT USB). Set
the location altitude to 600 m for this system.

Solution:
 Either the altitude of the system site or the absolute air pressure
must be known for this setting. Both values are linked through the
barometric altitude formula.

1. Open the System settings menu

2.6 Checking the measuring mode
 Check the measuring mode of the FDO 700 IQ sensor. If necessary,

switch to Concentration (mg/l).
 Check the measuring mode of the SensoLyt 700 IQ sensor. If
necessary, switch to pH.

Solution:
 The measuring mode is indicated in the measured value display
(example: mg/l O2 = D. O. concentration). Alternatively, you can
switch to the setting menu of the sensor and view the setting as
follows:

2.7 Linking outputs with sensors

menu
1. Link the outputs:

1. Link the outputs: module
Column &
Select the output channel and press “OK”.
Select the sensor for the linking and press
“OK”. Channels of different output modules
can be differentiated by the column No.
(e.g. "D01") or Name (if entered, see
exercise 2.5.
Repeat the last two steps for all outputs.

2.10 pH regulation with 2 relays
 With the aid of a SensoLyt 700 IQ, the pH value should be regulated
with two relays (dosing of HCl and
NaOH)
 The regulation is carried out via frequency controllers that are
directly connected to the feed pumps.
 NaOH should be dosed in the range pH 2 to 4. The relevant pump
should receive 0...120 pulses/minute in this range.
 HCI should be dosed in the range pH 6 to 8. The relevant pump
should receive 10...100 pulses/minute in this range.

 Carry out a 2-point calibration with the SensoLyt 700 IQ sensor.

Solution:
 Before calibrating ensure that the required calibration procedure is
set (2-point calibration procedure CAL TEC AUTO or CAL CON 2P
). If necessary, correct the setting in the setting table of the sensor.
