AFFIDAVIT OF DESISTANCE

I, MARIA ELENA KATIGBAK, of legal age, married, Filipino citizen and a

resident of No., San Juan, La Union, after first being duly sworn on oath according to
law, hereby depose and say:

That I am the complainant now pending before the Office of the Provincial
Prosecutor, National Prosecution Service, San Fernando City, La Union, entitled,
Katigbak versus Osawa, NPS Docket No.I-02-INV-16H,-01206, for Slight Physical
Injuries;

That after a serious reflection and careful deliberation of the circumstances which
led to the filing of the above-specified case, I came to realize that the same is a result of a
plain and simple misunderstanding on my part with the Respondent which has been
thoroughly threshed out during the confrontation/dialogue by and between the parties. As
such, I am no longer interested in furtherance of this case.

That I am executing this affidavit to attest to the truthfulness of the above-

narrated facts and for all legal intents and purposes.

That I am executing this affidavit in good faith and in accordance with law.
