droughts and floods. Un fortunately, in much parts
of the world, man has not realized that third of these
services is most important. In his eagerness to draw
quick profit from the trees, he has cut them down in
large number only to find that he has lost of the best
friend he had. Two thousand years ago a rich and
powerful country cut down its trees to built warships
to gain an empire. It gained the empire but without
its trees , its soils became hard and poor . When the
empire fell to pieces, the home country was finding
itself facing to floods and starvation.
