SEPTEMBER 23 2010 to 8 OCTOBER 2010

DISASTROUS PREDICTIONS

Strong planetary
aspects in the next
two weeks suggest
a possible large
earthquake or
storm between
the 23rd
September and
8th October 2010.

Susan Seymour
Hedke

Well, as those of you know who read my articles, I am only interested in writing when the
disastrous periods come around, as is now the case.

Recently, I predicted a possible disaster between the 2nd and 4th September 2010i as the Moon
opposed the Galactic Centre in a grand cross. There were two earthquakes over M 6 at this time, one
in Alaska of M 6.5 and the Christchurch Earthquake in New Zealand of M 7.1 both on the 3rd
September UTC (early morning 4th September local time) causing great material damages and
possible crustal displacement though luckily, and rather amazingly, there were no fatalities.

I also predicted another likely quake or storm between the 15th and 17th September as the Moon
conjunct the Galactic Centre and entered the earth sign Capricorn, which is the sign most implicated
by earthquakes. Just into the 17th there was an earthquake in Afghanistan (an M 6.2 or M 6.3). Also
quite a number of storms were active around this time.

Still on the earthquake front it has been still again. No earthquake over M 6 since the 17th – thats five
days. However change is coming very soon as the Sun moves to conjunct Saturn in the next week.
Saturn is ruler of the sign Capricorn, and he will also square the galactic axis of the Milky Way. Saturn
is also the most implicated planet by earthquakes and is still in a grand cross of bodies on the Holy
Cross which will now be strengthened by the Sun and at times by the transiting Moon.

I include the Nodes of the Moon in the calculation, which are more commonly used in Vedic Indian
astrology but I have found to be as significant as major planets if not more so.

In this grand cross the Sun and Saturn will oppose Jupiter and Uranus and square the Nodes. The
South Node is now in the water sign Cancer suggesting disaster involving water, floods and similar
events like landslides. As I wrote in earlier articles, floods will likely be the worst disasters this year
because the South Node is the most disastrous point apart from the Galactic Centre, both have an
affinity for water, and Cancer particularly is in the sign of floodingii as its rulership by the Moon might
imply.

The North Node, which is not always as lucky as some would wish, is in the earth sign Capricorn
moving back to conjunct Pluto that also in Capricorn and Pluto is conjunct the mega baddy –the
Galactic Centre… Oh No!

The Galactic Centre also is getting ever closer to that sign of earth now, being still at 27° Sagittariusiii
but with a very wide orb of influence. Certainly the entry of the Galactic Centre into the sign
Capricorn that begins at the winter solstice (within the next 250 years) will mean a White Christmas
in the Northern Hemisphere of a Great Year kind as it usually starts snowing around the winter
solstice time and the Galactic Centre travels tropically also once around the zodiac to mark the Great
Year seasons.

The phase of our Jupiterian expansion, based on plundering our Mother Earth’s recourses, may be
about to get frost-bitten fingers.

The present conjunction of Pluto with the Galactic Centre (c. 2001 to 2013) as well as the square
from Uranus (c. 2008 to 2013), and the sextile from Neptune of about the same time period, all
lasting through 2012 anyway, suggest collectively that this could be a phase triggering a sudden and
intensive transition to a quite new climatic balance, such as occurred in the film “The Day After
Tomorrow”.

On days when other planets weigh the galactic axis on the solstice axis and square the equinox axis
which make up the Holy Cross of the Great Year, these aspects will collectively attempt to bring this
age and this Great Year to its knees, or in terms of the Yugas of the east, to knock the last leg of the
cow from underneath it. The cow is an interesting idea for the Milky Way Galaxy was seen as a milk
giving cow in earlier versions of the Mother Goddess, so Hera was the Cow-Eyed one and then there
was Hathor-Nut in Egypt and many others.

The last similar alignment of the summer solstice with the Galactic Centre was a quite catastrophic
period that began c. 12,900 years ago.It ended the Pleistocene Period and began the Holocene.
The flowers of the field do not worry about the future, they bloom and we enjoy them but in winter
they are gone. There are times when carelessness is a virtue and others where it may be
inappropriate. Only those who have prepared and withdrawn their energies into the earth at the
correct time to save them from the freezing winds of a winter onset, or flown to a southern clime,
may survive such transitions.

Of course not all wish to survive a hard winter and would rather be spirited away (only the good die
young as they say), yet for us cowards remaining there are ways of preparing. Some hoard money,
others listen to the winds and some to an astrologer ;). Certainly consciousness, caution and
preparation, understanding and knowledge of what and when and where disasters are likely to
occur, can not be hurtful and might even be a saving.

Reports of disasters of all kinds are increasing….

though they will have periods of respite, the next two weeks are not likely to be among those
respites.

The Indian Ocean Earthquake of 26 December 2004 occurred as Saturn squared the Nodes and many
other earthquakes have also been caused by this aspect. The square of Saturn to the Nodes of the
Moon is most exact on the 27th September 2010. I wonder if any disaster will mark the event.

More likely perhaps is when the Moon joins the South Node at the Summer Solstice posite the
Galactic Centre, where it was as the 26rth December 2004 earthquake occurred, and where it was as
on June 12 2010 a M 7.5 earthquake also struck the Indian Ocean, and where on 3rd September 2010
again a 7.1 earthquake shook Chrstchurch. The Moon will then emphasize the grand cross on the
Holy Cross involving the Galactic Axis from 30th September to 1st October.

The 30th to 1st is a date to watch, maybe for a large earthquake, flooding (South Node in the water
sign Cancer), aviation problems, or storm damage, though some times I feel like I lack imagination
and please feel free to envisage other less obvious scenarios fitting to these aspects.

The storm damage is however likely because the Sun will be in the air sign Libra, suggesting even that
it could be caused by the Sun’s own activity, solar activity has also been linked to earthquake, though
of course behind the scenes the Galactic Centre may be feeding the solar flares.

When I first discovered the connection between the Sun’s transit over the Galactic Centre and the
Tsunami on 26 December 2004 I checked out the conjunctions oppositions and square of the Sun to
the Galactic Centre and found that the largest and deadliest in each year looked at had occurred
when the Sun aspected the Galactic centre, as it will do in the next two weeks.

I found the largest earthquake of 2001 occurred in Peru, an M. 8.4 on the 23rd June, the Sun was
opposite the Galactic centre.

The next year, 2002, the deadliest earthquake occurred in Afghanistan on the 25th March with the
Sun square the Galactic Centre.

The deadliest of 2003 was on 26th December in Iran with the Sun conjunct the GC, and the largest
of 2003 occurred as the Sun was square the GC on the 25th September, an M 8.3.

The largest and deadliest in 2004 was also on the 26th December with Sun again conjunct the GC.

Finally the largest of 2005 followed as the Sun again squared the GC on March 28 2005.

(The Moon conjunct the Galactic Centre on 8th October 2005 caused the deadliest earthquake of
the year. 2010 has also shown some kind of disaster including a large number of earthquakes when
the Moon aspected the Galactic Centre.)

Other solar disturbances are possible in this two week period, perhaps the skies will darken and
depress our sunny spirits, perhaps the heat of the Sun will fail and early snow will fall. Perhaps there
will be stock market difficulties affecting the price of gold ruled by the Sun…

Also in the next just over two week period Mercury is strongly involved, following after the Sun,
earlier in the month as Mercury was in a softer aspect of trine the storms threatened but faded out,
the square of Mercury to the Nodes and Galactic Centre can be more viscious as was the case I
believe by the Galveston hurricane. The Hispaniola Hurricane of 1508 as a number of others occurred
under similar aspects.

This aspect further fills my sails for prophecy of a likely storm, or certainly some air or aviation
difficulties. The grand cross between the 7th and 8th October is strengthened when the Moon also
conjuncts Mercury and Saturn squaring the Nodes.

Mercury close to Saturn can also cause difficulties or hold ups in communication with friends and
with travel. Long awaited mail fails to arrive, writers get a block, or problems with electrically run
machines like computers may occur and so consequently frazzle the nerves, which are also ruled by
Mercury.

As to the areas involved I am not sure this time, the most likely is near 180° east ( 10° to each side)
,where the Fiji islands are placed, maybe New Zealand. Also somewhere on the American continent is
possible. 90 east longitude and 90 west longitude are two of the most endangered zones by the
grand cross on the Holy Cross, the Deepwater HorizonOil disaster occurred within 2° of 90 W just
recently.

In the hope that forewarned is forearmed ☺ Perhaps I at least will remember and be patient with the
heavens !

In another article on the Nodes I also show that the South Node is traditionally exalted in the very position of
the Galactic Centre – no coincidence but an ancient knowledge of their relatedness.
iii
Of course the Galactic Centre does not really move around the zodiac rather the Earth itself wobbles on its
axis in a Great Year cycle so it seems to move and in astronomical or sidereal understanding the Galactic Centre
is at the beginning of Sagittarius, c. 5°. Still here we are using a solar tropical astrology which is useful to
calculate solstice and equinox and the seasons of the year. Both systems are equally important.
