NEED OF THE STUDY

The study conducted is Coimbatore city reflects the market position of IZON
TECHNOLOGIES AT COIMBATORE. It gives us the details of various factors of buying
behavior of customers. The study enables the company to prepare marketing strategy and
plan accordingly, so as to capture a greater market share& the services provided
Bythe Company. It foresight the future requirement of the market and thus helps the
manufacturer to face the future completion in a fully prepared way. Thus it helps the
company to have a good brand image and stepping toward success.

MEANING OF RESEARCH METHODOLOGY

Research methodology is a way to systematically solve the research problem. A researcher has to
study the research problem along with the logic in it for that the researcher should not only know
the research methods and techniques
butalso the methodology. The researcher has to apply particular researchtechniques in the
problems and he should also known which method or techniques is relevant or not so that,
means, it is necessary for the researcher to design his methodology for his problems as the so
may differ from problem to problem.

RESEARCH DESIGN

A sample design is a definite plan for obtaining a sample from a given population. It refers to
the technique or the procedure the researcher would adopt in selecting items for the sample,
sample design may as well lay down the number of items to be included in the sample i.e., the
size of the sample. Sample design is determined before data are collected. There are many
sample designs from which a researcher can choose. Some design is relatively more precise and
easier to apply than others. Researcher must select prepare sample design which should be
reliable and appropriate for his research study.

SAMPLE DESIGN

The research is conducted by considering only few units of population is called sampling. It
involves any procedure using a small number of items of pairs of the whole population to make
conclusion regarding the whole population. The sampling technique adopted in the current study
is convenient sampling.

METHODS OF SAMPLING

RANDOM SAMPLE METHOD:

The method adopted here is random sampling method. A Random sample is one where
each item in the universe has as an equal chance of known opportunity of being selected

The population of the study is conducted by the IZON TECHNOLOGIES AT


COIMBATORE. The total population of the company is 500.

SAMPLE SIZE

The sample size for the survey is 100 for IZON TECHNOLOGIES AT COIMBATORE

TYPES OF DATA USED

The data collection process begins after a research problem has been defined and research design
plan had been chalked out. The data collection is mainly of two types.

1. Primary data
2. Secondary data
PRIMARY DATA

The primary data are those which are collection a fresh and for the first time and thus happen to
be original in character. The collection of primary data is done through indirect communication
with the employees.

SECONDARY DATA

The secondary data, on the other hand, are those which have already been collected by someone
else and which have already been passed through the statistical process. Secondary data
collection from the information maintained by the human resource department, websites
and other records.
