Comments/Suggestions/Recommendations
Instructions:
In 3-5 sentences, answer the given questions below. Write your answers on the blank provided.

1.) What were the best features of the content of the module? Why?
The best features of the content of Module 1: ROAD TO THE RIGHT CHOICE are as follows:

1.1 The learning objectives were specific, achievable and relevant which were essential in making the learner-
participants easily comprehend the module thereby arriving to a well-described results and good delivery of the
above-mentioned session objectives.
1.2 The main activity & the lecturette were carefully chosen and designed which provided appropriate knowledge on
the important factors namely: Personal, Family & Social Factors affecting a human person’s life and career choices.
The “Ang Secreto sa Tagumpay ni Selena” was a classic yet effective story telling and reading comprehension
approach. Our student-participants even used the #SipagSikapatTiyaga in their Facebook posts after attending this
session. They most likely post such during their research and other output submissions on other subjects for the
fourth quarter since the Career Guidance Program Implementation was held right after the roll-out last February
2018. The discussion of the different factors is greatly necessary for them to widen their understanding of the
things that they have to consider in their career decision-making relevant to the Senior High School Curriculum
Exits. There were even students who were observed to be unaware of the label of what they are experiencing just
like confusion, parent’s lack of support and disagreeing to their career choice and all the rest. The discussion of
this factors provided a clearer picture and realization of their current challenges and things to consider. It provided
the learners a sort of bracketing or categorizing of all the interlocking situations and issues to career choice that
they have.
1.3 The process questions were significant to stimulate critical thinking, reflections and realizations for the student-
participant. It as well extended opportunities for the students to express themselves, share their struggles and
plans and open themselves up to their co-learners which made them widen their perspective about life and career
choices.

2.) What were the features of the content of the module which need further improvement? How could we improve
them?

During the delivery of the Motivation part of the lecture, the students become excited with the fashion
show activity and truly appreciated such on their level of understanding as millennial learners. However, it was
observed that they had a hard time during the presentation already wherein they have to introduce the track
assigned to their respective group. It turned out that they are not as knowledgeable with all the track/strand under
the Senior High School curriculum except for the General Academic Strand which they are currently enrolled. It is
therefore suggested to check on this portion of the module for better and effective results for module 1.

3.) Other comments and suggestions \]

The time schedule left for the facilitator and the Guidance Advocate to properly implement the Career
Guidance Program Modules were not sufficient enough for the entire Eight (8) Modules. After the roll-out last
February, 2018, the guidance advocate and facilitator did their best to fit-in all the activities of the modules side by
side with the preparation for Recognition, Graduation, Recollection activities and the Senior High School Closing
Summit 2018. The program implementation could have attained better results if the implementors had the chance
to follow and keep up with the ideal program implementation time frame as stated in DepEd Memorandum Order
165 s. 2017. It States:

THE SCHOOLS ARE ENCOURAGED TO DELIVER FOUR (4) MODULES EACH

Comments/Suggestions/Recommendations
Instructions:
In 3-5 sentences, answer the given questions below. Write your answers on the blank provided.

1.) What were the best features of the content of the module? Why?
The best features of the content of Module 2: RELEASING THE POWER WITHIN are as follows:

1.1 Resemblance to Module 1, the learning objectives of these session were as well observed to be specific,
achievable and easily understood by the learners resulting to well-described outcomes and good delivery of the
above-mentioned session objectives. The session objects were suited as supplemental to Module Number 1
wherein the learner was provided the opportunities to have a self-assessment and introspection for better
understanding of their self-interest and skills necessary in choosing their Senior High School Curriculum Exit so
as their career and life decisions. Self-knowledge is definitely one of the basic foundations necessary to arrive
at appropriate decisions.
1.2 The group and individual activities designed in order to deliver the session objectives and impart the skills to
the learners were timely and relevant to their level of appreciation easing the boredom of classic/traditional
delivery of lesson and discussion. The Maniquin Challenge was truly enjoyed by the learners since it has been
one of the trending social media craze lately in Facebook and in the news. It also allowed the learners to express
themselves individually showing that individual differences result to individually contributed creative ideas.
The group activities were interactive, simple but creative, helps develop camaraderie between the student
members of each group, showcases individual differences and stimulates the mind so as the affect of the
learners for better career and life decisions.
1.3 Individual Self-assessment activities were simple but results to better self-knowledge particularly to the
different skills they have and should have in order to become successful in their possible career and chosen life
path.
1.4 The assignment at the end of the session were relevant to the session or module objectives. It was helpful in
supplementing the module content, module activities and session objectives. It as well adds a realistic career
life overview from professionals they had the chance to interview.

2. What were the features of the content of the module which need further improvement? How could we improve
them?

The motivation part of the lecture and the main activity wherein the facilitators and the Guidance Advocate
presented on the different skills necessary for each profession needs to involve more career and professions
together with the skills needed for each career. There was a limited discussion and exhibit of the different

careers and the skills for each career. Resources for this can be the Department of Labor and Employment
wherein posting of different job vacancies and job qualifications are posted and categorized.

Also, we can try other alternative assessment activity that can draw better result in matching self-knowledge
and skills necessary for a specific job and vocation. Just like the Skills Assessment Worksheet which is more
precise and reliable than the one embedded in the module. However, it is just given as a form of suggestion
since we are not truly aware with the precise reason why it was chosen as the assessment that is primarily
necessary to obtain the objectives of this particular module. As observed it is short and acceptable perhaps it
was considered as it fits with the time frame given to deliver this part of the module.
