The ball type jet diffuser incorporates a vol-
ume controls plate at its dischange nozzle.
Volume control can be adjusted to totally
open, half - open & totally closed.

Suggested Specification:
Type CQB Jet Diffuser shall be made of 1.0mm thickness aluminum roll formed. The nozzl
shall be adjustable with 45o deflection towards all direction. The nozzle shall be able to rotate
360o around the center axis through the nozzle. The curved blade shall be adjustable with a
knob at the surface of the nozzle to close or open the nozzle outlet without using any tools.
The curved blade shall be shaped to the nozzle shape and located inside the nozzle. The
frame shall consist of an outer frame and inner frame with a gasket in between. The frames
shall be detachable from the nozzle with simple tools. The diffuser shall be epoxy coated and
furnished to architectual requirement.

Tan Hung CTX Series is a type of diffuser with fixed radially
arranged air control blades. This unique type of slots prvide high
induction "vortex" air flow projecting horizontally from the face of
diffuser. This swirling air flow produce a diffuse air distribution,
with no stationary air jet resulting excellent uniformity of temper-
ature in air conditioned space. CTX is suitable in area of high
heat load where large quantities of cool air must be rapidly mixed
with room air; areas which require high air change in a short
time. The CTX series can also be use as a return and exhaust
type device.

Check damper is designed for automatic shut off of

individual section of air conditioning system. In a multi
fan installation, CD prevents back draught through the
non-operating fans. Contemporary styling features
blades that overlap the frame for optimum leakage
proof. The damper,s aesthetical appearance is main-
tained by sturdy, corrosion resistant aluminum and gal-
vanized steel construction.
CD should be located at least one - half the fan
diameter away from the fan when used in fan dis-
charge applications.
CD has to be installed with blade running horizontally.
For proper operation, damper must be installed
square and free from racking.
CD intended to be self-supporting only in the largest single section size. Bracing is required in
multiple section damper assemblies to support the weight of the assembly and to hold against
system pressure. It is recommended that appropriate bracing to support damper horizontally at
least once for every 8 feet of damper width. More bracing may be required for vertical assemblies
and higher system pressure.
