Proclaim the Gospel - Equip the next Generation - Mobilize the Church around the world
h 2011 Review
Shalom, Dear Kingdom builders, Greetings from Jerusalem in the Lord Jesus!

It has been an exciting and challenging year. The Word is going forth from Zion, to both Jews and Gentiles (Romans
1:16). We have been blessed to be a part of what the Lord is doing through WMO. It is an honor to serve the Lord
and co-labor with you for the Kingdom of God. It is our hope that through this mission report you will be
encouraged and your heart stirred up for the expansion of God’s Kingdom.

By God’s grace we are based in Jerusalem, we receive invitations to preach and teach around the world. Each year
we pray over each invitation and opportunity and select five evangelistic projects and trust for the Lord’s provision
to fulfill His calling on us. We partner with the local Body to continue the work of the harvest. To God be the Glory!
Enjoy the overview of what the Lord has done, and future upcoming evangelistic outreaches.

The Lord brought us back to Tanzania twice this year to continue the equipping of Pastors meeting in Arusha
churches in preparation for the Kilimanjaro Jewish Outreach. Our African friends told us
that many Israel-Ministries come to Tanzania to teach on praying for the Jewish people and blessing them so that
Africa will be blessed. However, these teachers never mention the need for Jewish people to believe in Jesus. So the
African churches thought that everybody in Israel believed in Jesus, they were real saints and life in Israel was like
paradise. It was totally surprising to them when we shared that in Israel only about 20,000 out of 6 million Jews
know Jesus. Our African friends were excited to learn about how to reach Jews
with the Gospel. They are great prayer warriors. We were so blessed by seeing the
commitment of the pastors to reach the Jewish people with the Gospel of Jesus.

The Lord also had a special surprise for us: In January we got to know a small Masai
congregation that met under a tree. We had an awesome time of worship together
and they gladly committed to pray for the Jewish Outreach. Their dream and great
need was a church building since the dust turns into terrible mud when it rains. We
prayed for a building for them.

Indeed, the Lord has been doing great things and released the funds to help them
build a church! When we went back there in September we had an architect with
us, Jose, Henry’s brother from Costa Rica, and a team of
men from Hawaii. Every day we went to the village far
away in the savannah to help the Masai build their
church. We became really good friends while we
worked together. When we left, the foundation was
done and from there, a Tanzanian architect took over.
By now, the walls are almost finished! We give God all the glory. Please pray for these
precious Masai brothers and sisters as they grow in the Lord.

This year, the Paynesville Community Church celebrated their 20th anniversary! The
Lord kept and protected them through the very hard years of the civil war and has always been so faithful! We
celebrated together with them God’s marvelous faithfulness and love.
About 100 pastors and around 250 people came for a three- day conference to hear the Word of God. Thanks to
your donations we could print booklets with the messages for each pastor to take home. We were so humbled when
several pastors told us after the seminars that they had never heard nor understood the Jewish Roots of our faith
and now are so excited to know Jesus from a totally new perspective. Praise the
Lord!

The church also conducted two days of evangelistic outreach in an open area of the
public market. The musicians played great songs to Jesus, the Hope of Liberia. After
preaching the Gospel of Jesus as the only hope for
Liberians, Henry gave an invitation and many came
forward to surrender their lives to Jesus as Lord, God
and Savior. Follow up is taking place by the local church.

We were so blessed that WMO partners gave money to buy rice for orphans. The
orphanages did not know that we were coming and were very surprised. It was so nice
to see the faces of the children and the caretakers when they saw the big bags of rice!
We are so grateful to see that these kids are being raised in faith to serve Jesus! Future world changers

Citizens: 7.6 million citizens not including West Bank and Gaza, about 5.8 million Jews
Religions: 75.6% Jews, 16.9% Muslim, 2% Christian, 1.7% Druze, 3.8% others (like Buddhists, Hindus, etc)
Jews: 15,000 – 20,000 messianic Jews live in Israel

Once again we had a fantastic team from all around the world: from Hawaii,
USA/China, Liberia/West-Africa, Holland/Egypt, Germany and Israel. We had a
blessed and great time; however, we also worked very hard.

Many evangelists of our teams come to Israel for the 1st time and so we want to
show them as much as possible of the Land of Jesus as well. We teach about the
Jewish roots of our faith and they experience Israel first hand- especially through
the people with whom they share the Gospel – Jews and Muslims.

The first outreach was in Akko with a Lebanese/Arab church. Three days we worked
together sharing the Gospel with Muslims, Israelis
and tourists. We also went camping at the Sea of
Galilee among the Israelis to reach them with the
Good News. We had some great opportunities
sharing - with Jews and Arabs! Sometimes we were
sitting with them for more than 2-3 hours! Please, pray that God will water all
those Gospel-seeds, and grow them into eternal salvation! If the Lord is putting on
your heart to join one of WMO’s two evangelistic outreach mission trips next year,
please contact Christiane at NaomiRuth@hjewish.de.
Germany
Citizens: 81,471,834, 91.5% German, 2.4% Turkish, 6.1% other
Religions: 34% Roman Catholic, 34% Protestant, 3.7% Muslim, 28.3% other
Jews: around 200,000, and Jews still immigrating from Russia

Our German branch of WMO, Naomi Ruth e.V. has been developed for almost
three years now. It’s amazing that the Lord chose Nürnberg as a headquarters
for us. The city in which Adolf Hitler once held his hate speeches against the
Jewish people. By the grace of God, WMO/Naomi Ruth e.V. will now bring the light and love of Jesus to the Jews and
the world. We are praying to have a Jewish Evangelistic Outreach there one day. However, first the pastors need to
know us and trust us and understand that the Lord calls each of us Christians to share the Gospel with His beloved
people. Most German Christians are confused and think that because of the Holocaust
they are not entitled to share with Jews.

So this year we had the first three day evangelistic outreach to Gentiles in Nürnberg in a
little park right in the city center. Many people walked by and stopped to hear the
Gospel. Every day people came to faith in Jesus, rededicated their lives to Him and will
now have follow up by the local churches.
The first day before we even had set up everything, Henry had a conversation with a
Luca and Kim came to young couple, sharing the whole Gospel. Both of them repented of their sins and gave
know Jesus before the their hearts Jesus!

Nepal has been on our hearts for many years since many Israelis travel there.
This year the doors opened for us to go there. We were there over Rosh
Hashanah (Jewish New Year) and saw many Israelis. To our surprise the Lord
put us right next door to the Jewish center of Kathmandu!

Nepal is the land of Hinduism with thousands of ‘gods’ which deceive the
hearts of millions. Under the invitation of a Nepalese pastor, we hosted a
luncheon to equip local pastors on evangelizing Jewish people, and
shared the vision of a future Kathmandu Jewish Outreach. We were
so blessed by the favor we had with the Nepalese leaders. Although
they knew that Jews passed through their land, it did not cross their
mind to share the gospel with them. They are very excited about the
future Kathmandu Jewish Outreach.

Pastor Dave Mobley For over 20 years I have said to folks in my church that our
Woodridge Community Church financial investment in the gospel ministry of Henry and
New Berlin, WI USA Darlene Matarrita is the best investment we could make. What I
have so appreciated is how consistent and persistent Henry and
Darlene have proven to be. Though some things change around them, they continue to take our great gospel and
proclaim it wherever God leads them…fearlessly. If you are new to World Mission Outreach and Henry and Darlene
specifically, please take my word that they have a proven track record with me and our church family.

For many years, I read a lot about Israel and the Jewish people and prayed for Pastor Piniel Lucumay
them. However, the teachings of WMO about Israel were life changing for me: I Arusha, Tanzania
learned to understand the importance of my role as a gentile believer for the
salvation of Israel, and our Christian responsibility toward the Jewish people. My church collected offerings and gave
them to charities for the poor in Israel. This was good, however our first call as Christians is to support those
ministries that bring the Gospel to the Jews since the Gospel is the most important and valuable thing anyone can
give them. That’s what they need most!

Pastor Syam Lama It is completely challenging and huge blessings in

Church- Vineyard Church my life. I never heard nor was taught to reach the
Thasikhel- Kathmandu-Nepal Jewish people with the Gospel of Jesus Christ based on
Romans 1:16. I can't express how much I am blessed by Ps
Henry’s teaching. It has revolutionized my personal life and ministry after hearing about reaching Jewish people with
Jesus. I am fully loaded with blessings after I heard, applied and made a decision to reach Jewish people in Nepal with
Jesus. I work in the remote mountain region doing trekking, and I made a decision that I will carry English gospel
literature and pass it to the Jewish people and share about Jesus Christ. Thank you!

Please pray for us as we worship and serve the Lord all over the world. We operate our
ministry from Jerusalem and attend school part-time. It is challenging to be in Israel by faith
and share the Gospel with Israelis and Palestinians. Please pray for favor with the people
and the government. We thank God for you, for your prayers, sacrificial obedience, acts of
kindness, compassion and generosity.
We need your partnership. Would you please consider a year end gift to finish 2011 strong
and begin the 2012 strong. We pray that as we go together adventurously into the world
with the Gospel and the love of Christ, together we will find Him guiding us to the needs He
wants us to meet. May we bear eternal fruit for His Glory and Honor. May our Lord Jesus
bless you richly!
For the Kingdom of God in heaven,

Henry and Darlene Matarrita
