1. INTRODUCTION
This guide has been written with the user in mind, who might be asked to or wishes to
know about creating a CTR (Cost Time Resource) file. This Guide is to be read in
conjunction with ENG/GRP/PRO/7002 CTR Creation and ENG/GRP/PRO/7001
Engineering Request Procedure.
2. CREATING THE CTR ADVITIUM OBJECT
Log into Advitium
Open the Documentation tab in Advitium to click on the CTR Estimate filter.
Then click on Create Object.
Fill in all required information, tick ‘keep checked out’ and click on save to create the
entry.
The object has now been created and a number was assigned automatically.

Upon opening in Excel, you will be prompted to enter the CTR description, CTR
number as obtained when creating the CTR object in Advitium, and the daily
rate. You will also be given a chance to change the revision, from the default ‘A’.

Then specify the name of the new sheet and the overall task description.
A new worksheet has been added with the option to add the activities.

In order to add an activity, click on ‘New Activity’. Choose ‘After Last Activity’ for
the initial activity.

After completing the sheet, save the excel file on your desktop. The following
screenshot has a few more activities added for illustration purposes.

Choose the ‘CTR Creation’ Package, add to ‘to validate’ and choose ‘vault reference’.
Confirm by clicking ‘Create’.
The package will be created automatically. Give it a meaningful name, i.e. the CTR
number and choose the appropriate reviewer to review its contents. Click ‘Save’.

Under the new ‘Attachments’ tab on the left hand side panel, add any supporting
justification files or objects where applicable. Confirm that the CTR is correctly attached
under ‘To validate’.
Once finished, go back to ‘Package Form’ and then click ‘send to process’. The CTR
will now be reviewed and released where appropriate.
The CTR is now ready to be used in conjunction with a relevant ERF as per
ENG/GRP/PRO/7001.
