Yesterday, the Thai government issued warnings about Vietnam war and
Suez Crisis Threatens Thai Communist dominion near Thai border. The protest now has turned violent,
Economy threatening Thai citizens near Vietnam border and Thai citizen in Vietnam.

A war between communist Northern Vietnam and anti-communist Southern

Vietnam has currently commenced, estimately two days ago. Government of
Hungarians Protesting for Thailand had just announced the warning of Thai citizens in Vietnam and Thai
Freedom and POWs: citizens that live near Vietnam to beware of the war that is presently occupying.
Thai government has suggested the evacuations of all Thai citizen in the area,
Turning Soldiers into especially citizens in Vietnam. Thai government underlined the concern in the
spreadings of Communist near Thailand. The Prime Minister sent invitations to
Prisoners the leaders of Thailand to a meeting discussing about the current crisis at 3:00
pm.

Hungarians Protesting for
Freedom
For five days Hungarians have protested with determination for their
independent of being under the power of the Soviet Union.

Since 1945, subsequent to the second world war,
Hungary was under control of the Soviet Union,
along with their troops inside Hungary. A
communist government in Hungary was
established. The death of Stalin in, a Soviet
revolutionary, in March 5, 1953 brought hope to
the people for their freedom of their country.
De-Stalinisation arises among Hungarians that
demanded the cease of country's brutal, secret
police (AVH), the State Protection Authority.
In Budapest, October 23rd 1956, A rise of
protests by students and workers waving
Hungarian flags with the Communist Emblem in
the center cut off. Eruption of fighting occured
between both sides during the protests in
Budapest. The desiration of independent
demonstrated by the Hungarians are
straightforward from the destruction of Stalin’s
statue and the release of political
prisoners. Andras Hegedus was replaced by Imre
Nagy due to the popular command of the
Hungarians.
On October 28th, Soviet troops had withdrawn
entirely. A new reform from Nagy quickly arose
such as free elections and the ending of the
secret police in Hungary.
Under the current government, Imre
Nagy, Hungary has withdrawn from
Warsaw Pact. Warsaw, formed in
May 14th, 1955 is a treaty a mutual
defense organization. The Warsaw
Treaty Organization provided
unified military command of the
Soviet military defense. The
resignation made Hungary a neutral
country to Soviet Union’s enemies,
upsetting Khrushchev and the
countries in Warsaw.
POWs: Turning
Soldiers into
Prisoners
SEOUL — Four months ago, Lee Jae-won,
a 21-year-old South Korean soldier
battling in a war estimately in middle of
the peninsula wrote a sincere letter to his
mother in South Korea. In the letter, he
described that bullets were coming down
like “raindrops,” he was scared. The day
after, his mother received a letter from
the South Korea
Army, stated that her son did not survive
the firefight in Paju, where the border
between North and South is. His body had
not been found yet.
“We never doubted his death,” said Lee’s
younger brother, Lee Jae-seong. “It was
the chaos of war, and you couldn’t expect
to recover a body.”

Lee Jae-won survived the battle. During
the battle, he was captured by Chinese
Communists that handed him over to
North Korea. North Korea life-sentenced
him in a secretive program called POW.
Lee Jae-won is not the only prisoner
there, there are over tens of thousands of
South Korean that are sentenced under
POW. The prisoners of POW are enclosed
in a certain area and are not allowed to
communicate with others.
At the end of Korean War in July 27,
1953, an swapping prisoners agreement
between North and South Korea was
made. With over 80,000 South Korean
in the North, which most were presumed
dead, North Korea only returned 8,300
prisoners. South Korea government is
still trying to negotiate the North Korea
for the return of the rest of the
prisoners.
A war between North Korea with Soviet
Union and the Republic of China support
and South Korea with the U.S. and the
Great Britain support erupted in the mid
of 1953. The leader of North Korea was
Prime Minister Kim Il-sung forming a
communist government, and the leader
of South Korea was President Syngman
Rhee forming a capitalist government.
The two sides created a border, 38th
parallel. Attacks happened rapidly
between both sides of the 38th parallel.
Treaty were made on July 17, 1953,
ending the war. Both contenders for
control of the Korean peninsula remain
separated by the 2-mile demilitarized
zone.

Vietnam, located on the West side of
Thailand, next to Laos and Cambodia,
was in a control of French from 1887,
had recently declared their
independence in 1954, following the
dramatic French military losses at Dien
Bien Phu. Vietnamese revolutionary Ho
Chi Minh successfully securde the
freedom of Vietnamese once again. The
loss of Northern Vietnam previously
concerned the US, which had supported
French and the anti-communists in Dien
Bien Phu. The previous event could be
considerable as the first Indochina war
between French Union and Vietnam
communist revolutionaries.
“I cannot contact my sister in Vietnam currently, I tried to
reach out to her to tell her about the government’s latest
logistic evacuation,” said Somjing,35, has a sister in Southern
Vietnam.
The upcoming war of Vietnam presently is
a concern to major countries, such as the
US, the People’s Republic of China, and the
Soviet Union. The Soviet Union are the
Allies Power, where the US and the
western powers are against.
“Proxy Wars,” are what critics are calling
the current situation in Vietnam. The
superpowers are fighting in wars,
indirectly, in countries that are not
involving themselves. The proxy wars are
the result of the Cold War, the tensions
between the superpowers, involving many
transitions of weapons and new
technologies, and also the spreading of
communism, which the idea of it is driven
by Stalin and Lenin.

Thai government are currently concerned
about the situation in Egypt due to the
hardship and more funding of trade and
exchange of goods with the European
countries. The result of the permanent
nationalizing canal will cause in higher tax
of product that is shipped through the
canal, wholly. Economists are predicting
for the further effects of the Suez Canal to
the Thai economy.

Better.
The United States and Britain’s failed
promise of the reconstruction of the Aswan
High Dam in Egypt constructed a great
concern, majorly back toward the Great
Britain and France. The decision striked by
the current president of Egypt, President
Gamal Abdel Nasser, to nationalize the Suez
Canal last July. This invasion of Israel
occured seven days ago. Israel armies
invaded into the border of Egypt,
commencing the Suez Crisis.
The Suez Canal was previously owned by the
Suez Canal Company, which Britain and
France was the majorly held since 1869. The
Suez Canal, a waterway connecting the
Mediterranean sea and Red seas, is the
shortest route between Europe to India, and
Pacific Ocean, the current estimation of the
transits per year is over 300,000. Nasser’s
declaration on nationalizing the Suez Canal
to acquire their own profit for the funding
of Aswan High Dam arissed on July 26,
1956. The announcement upsetted and
caused elevated political tension between
Egypt and many countries.
Britain and France later joined the war two
days later. The cooperation of Israel, Britain,
and French resulted indirect damaged
relationship of the United States and the
Soviet Union. The United Nations formally
notified a resolution for the cease-fire.
