Statement of problem
Some Caribbean housewife claim that meat seasoned with green
pawpaw is much more tender when cooked.

Hypothesis:Meat becomes much more tender when seasoned with green pawpaw.
Aim: To investigate the effects of meat when seasoned with green pawpaw.

Materials: Green pawpaw,beef,chicken,pork,bowls,a sharp knife,grater or food


processor,frying pan,cooking oil,regular seasoning

Methods:
1.Wash the green pawpaw and cut the pawpaw into half using a sharp knife.
2. Using a spoon carefully remove all the seeds from inside of the pawpaw.
3.With the use of a grater, finely grate the pawpaw along with the skin and pour the
mixture in a bowl.
4.Cut the meat into small pieces and put the meat into separate bowls.
5.Pour the pawpaw mixture into the bowls with the meat and stir thoroughly with a
spon.
6.Mix the meat with the regular seasoning too.
7.Leave the seasoned meat to marinate for a few minutes.
8.In a frying pan,add three tablespoon of cooking oil and set the stove on medium
heat and wait until the oil is hot.
9.Gently add the seasoned meat into the frying pan and let the meat fry for about fry
minutes and do the same with the regular seasoned meat.
10.Use a spoon to turnover the meat so that both side of the meat is properly cooked.
11.After frying, take the meat out of the frying pan and turn the stove off and let the
meat to cool for a few minutes in a plate.
12.Use a knife to cut the meat gently and a fork to taste the meat to check whether it
has become tender with the green pawpaw seasoning.
13.Observe your results.

Precaution
Do not stand too close to the stove when frying the meat.

•The mixture was not stir properly.
•The meat was not left to marinate long enough
