Forest
By Joah
Unbloomed flowers
With green oval buds
Curved line openings
I can’t count how many
Soon to grow and open up
Soon to be pink little flowers
A metal fence laying down by the shed
A bike wheel laying
On a old tattered wood ladder
A wet floor sign just sitting there
Little bugs in a plant that look like lice
In hair but on a plant
A bee attacking another bee
An ant walking around on a wood flower bed
Just beneath it is a tiny white caterpillar
Near me is a flying ant just doing its business
Jaby leaves are all around me
Poke poke poke
There’s a feather right next to me
Probably from the annoying rooster
There’s a nail in some wood
And some tiny snails wanting to join me
A tree about ten feet from where I’m sitting
A cobweb probably a few years old
Looks a little tattered
There’s a little bug
Smells like mint
I don’t know what it is As I look around in the garden
On my paper Reaching my hand forward
I see a glass butterfly standing on a pole A new bud looks round
Plants all around it And feels cold like a snowball
I hear a rooster
(Cockle doodle doo) Smells like pine
At that moment I see a weird yellow bug As I rise in the garden
Half of it looks like a ant When the sun beams
But with a yellow back Through the leaves
And the face looks like a centipede It’s like I’m under water
A spider has made a web
But not as many legs
Upon its leaf the buds are captured in it
It goes into the dirt
The leaves look like little umbrellas
I try digging it out to see it more When the sun shines through them
But it's missing
Then I see another Suddenly, rowmmmm-rowmmm-
It flies away Rrrrrrrrrooooowwwmmmm
My silence is shattered
I hear a lawn mower
As I Sit in the Garden Rom rooowwwwm
By Izzy RRRRRRRRRROOOOOWWWWWMMMMM
RRRRRROWM
Smells like fresh flowers It gets louder
As I sit in the garden It stops and goes
The sun gleams through VROM a car passes
The spring green leaves
Making them look tie dye I hear someone saying WOW
Like green ink has spilled on them When the leaves are dry they feel like fish food
With a dark green middle Crushed in the palm of my hand
I blow them off
It floats to the ground like snowflakes
Tiny sharp thorns
All Around the Garden Are all around a rose stem,
By Kara A spider caught a fly
And a spider web sticking on me,
The leaf is a soft green The garden is pleasant place to be
shining in the sunlight,
Lime green moss is spreading
around the trunk of the tree, Outdoors in the Garden
Dead flower the color of a dark pink By Luka
feels like a plastic
bottle getting crunched, I am outdoors in the garden.
The earth is a pleasant place to be I see a cobweb with small
Dead leaves, bits of bark, White flower petals inside,
and pine cones And pine needles too
Like it’s camouflaging The bark on a cedar tree
in the ground Feels dry and crumbly
Dandelions looks like I hear a rooster in a nearby yard,
a white microphone, Going cockadoodledoo!
I blew on it and it looked I see big fluffy purple flowers
like tiny flowers flying away, Sitting there on the ground
The garden is a pleasant place to be They look like poofy purple pom-poms
Plants look like a small tree
with lights hanging around, As I am outdoors in the garden.
Trees with many leaves I see a rusty metal screw
But many are still developing, Piercing a piece of damp wood
The nature smells On a wood plank.
Like a sweet flower blooming, I can see the sunlight glaring
The birds are chirping a sweet melody, Through the branches, leaves,
The garden is a pleasant place to be And other trees above me
I feel the bark on a tree And then I scream inside my head,
That I am not familiar with “I CAN SEE GOSH DARNIT!
The bark is extremely smooth, I and I guess I can see the gold ant
With little brown spots on it, I must be special.
And it looks like fake wood
I am outdoors in the garden.
Sights and Sounds of the Garden
By Silas
I Must Be Special
By Mikey Ants on the ground carry food to their home
Cobwebs tremble in the wind
I see a spider web calmly Like a weightless strand of string
Flowing in the breeze They almost have no color
I see a few ants Raspberry bush tangled inside a tree
Scouting out for food The thorns are pointy and sharp
I squished them and now On the tip of one of the bush’s branch’s
It reeks of DEAD ants Sits one closed green flower bud
I see a plant that appears The soft but loud hum of the lawn mower,
To be sharp but it's soft Mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm
Flies keep surrounding me The silence is shattered
Wherever I go The louder whine of the weedwacker,
There is a large amount of moss GNAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA
Taking over a tree The sounds wonder in and out
There sure are a lot of pine Like waves in the ocean
Cones on the ground…. The smell of freshly cut grass fills my nose
73 to be exact The lawn mower stops
There’s a few bees pollinating flowers So does the weedwacker
I see an ant with a golden abdomen There is silence again
I poked it with a twig and it ran so fast
It looked as if it was teleporting
