Seattle and TT Move
Forward with Carbon Plant
After years on negotiation, a
breakthrough agreement will allow for
the siting of a new Carbon Building
plant on the southern border of the
Metroplex with Tir Tairngire.
The Carbon Building plant
will pull carbon from the air and sell
it as a raw material. “Once the
Seattle-Tir facility is running at full
production, it will generate eighteen
tons of carbon a day for industrial
uses,” said Carbon Building CEO
Matt Weeks.
“Tir Tairngire is pleased to
see the US move toward more
environmentally friendly
technologies,” said TT Ambassador
Elsbeth Crown, “and hope this will
build bridges between our two
nations.”
Governor Freeman-Nakagawa
welcomed the project as building on
Seattle reputation for advanced and
clean technology and she said that
“Seattle and the Tir can build a
brighter future together.”.
The plant’s foundations were
laid in 2071 and the first carbon
processors should be online by the end
of the year.
Troll Killer Revealed as Rogue
Spirit, Slain by KE
Knight Errant coordinating with
the neighborhood watch and irregular
assistance in Troll Town brought down
a rogue spirit responsible for the death
of no less than six trolls in recent
months.
Reports say that two KE under-
cover officers were badly wounded in
the altercation that destroyed the rogue
spirit.
Detective R Yancy, who closed
the case, thanked the troll community of
Seattle for their aid and patience in this
difficult time.

ManaWave Technologies
and UW Begin Partnership
ManaWave Technologies and
the University of Washington have
agreed to a partnership with UW
students gaining hands on experience
working with MWT or one of its
subsidiaries. Dr. A. Shipson, MWT
CEO said, “We look forward to
working with the fine minds at UW to
advance their skills and the frontiers
of science.”
Dr. Jinerat Orange, President
of UW, said, “ManaWave has a wide
portfolio of research opportunities
across many fields and will be a
welcome partner for both building
student skills and a better future.”
The initial pilot program is to
be offered for up to 750 UW students,
mostly in engineering and technology
fields, with opportunities ranging from
access to advanced tools and facilities
for student use to working directly
with ManaWave teams on active
projects. If the initial program is
successful plans are in place to
expanded it year on year.
Seattle Stress play Exhibition
Game against Oslo Vikings
A friendly match between the
champion Seattle Stress and the Oslo
Viking, who just missed promotion to
the Premier Division this season, will
be held of Friday at the MetroDome.
All Seattle Metroplex students
and school staff will be admitted free
with pre-booked tickets and members of
both teams will meet the fans after the
match.
Seattle Jazz-Swing
Weekend starts Friday
The Seattle Jazz-Swing
Weekend is celebrating its 19th year
with three days of music and dance
across the Metroplex.
Beginning at 12:01am on
Friday with Swing at the Space
Needle, an invite only gala for the
top swing dancers in the world and
ending late Sunday night with the
Governor’s Swing for Hope charity
event.
Events and venues all
across the Metroplex will be hosting
jazz and swing events including a
massive ‘Dance til you Drop’ event
at the Metrodome starting on
Saturday.
There are opportunities for
those new to the world of jazz and
swing to learn to dance and play
music. Schools across the Metroplex
will be having night and weekend
classes in both open to the public.
Horizon is offering free
matrix courses in basic swing dancing
and jazz music through the end of the
month to everyone in the Metroplex
and will host a Disney themed event
on Saturday at their downtown HQ.
Proposition 23 Debate
Scheduled
The Voter League and all
major political parties have agreed to
a town hall style debate on Proposition
23. A mix of six politicians and
experts will presents their views and
then take questions from the
assembled people. Each will
additionally take two questions from
people virtually participating in the
debate audience.
Among the participants are
Rep. Art Glasser, R-Tacoma, Dr Plato
Henrikson, local teacher, and Dark
Star, head of Dark Star Security.
