between Park Road and Cleveland stations.

Works include:
• Footbridge maintenance – Buranda
station and Brock Street, Cannon Hill
• Level crossing reconditioning –
Cavendish Road, Coorparoo
• Rail replacement works – Murarrie,
Hemmant, Manly, Lota and Thornside
• Sleeper replacement works –
Thornside, Wellington Point and
Cleveland
• Embankment works – Wellington
Point
• Drainage maintenance – Thornside,
Manly, Muarrie and Cannon Hill
• Signalling maintenance – Cannon Hill
• Track, overhead line and station
These works involve the cutting, moving and welding of rail,
the use of lighting towers and loud, heavy machinery, including
air compressors, chainsaws, leaf blowers, cranes, rock breakers,
on-track vehicles, loaders, excavators and trucks with horns,
bright flashing lights and reversing beepers.
